About this apartment rental
Old Town Spacious Apartment is located in one of the most harmoniously developing parts of the Old Town, known as the "New Old Town." This area is known for its vibrant daylife, with no loud night parties or discos. In the morning, small shops, artisanal bakeries, cafes, and galleries open up. The building itself houses the popular Szklarnia cafe, and across the street, you'll find Stuhlmann food spot and Bochenek bakery. Just around the corner are Astrid, Szalej cafe, and Stockholm, all serving delicious breakfasts. The proximity to two of the city's largest markets, Stary and Nowy Kleparz, which feature cuisines from around the world and various cafes, is also noteworthy.
The apartment's location is excellently connected. The main train and bus stations, as well as a major transportation hub, are within walking distance (300 - 1000 meters). The Main Market Square is 950 meters away, and the nearest park (Planty) is 300 meters away. Museums and attractions are literally within arm's reach, and trips to places like Kazimierz or Stare Podgórze take just a few minutes by public transport. Tours to popular destinations (e.g., Zakopane), suburban museums (e.g., Wieliczka Salt Mine), and memorial sites (e.g., Auschwitz Museum) often start from around the main train station (PKP), where a large shopping mall is also located, offering everything you might need during your stay. The fast train to Balice Airport also departs from this station.
Old Town Spacious Apartment is a large, authentic Old Town apartment where our guests can feel like true Krakow residents! The 68 m² apartment has 3 separate rooms: two bedrooms and a living room with a functional sofa bed and old double doors. At the heart of the apartment, connecting all rooms, is a newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen. It includes a fold-out table, SMART TV, and an authentic Krakow tiled stove (now non-functional, left as decoration, as burning in stoves is prohibited, ensuring good air quality with minimal smog even in winter).
Most of the apartment's floors are wooden: a 70-year-old dark parquet or planks. The bathroom and hallway have convenient tiles. The apartment has a classic, beautiful layout facing two directions, and additional doors between rooms allow guests to move freely between different parts of the apartment.
Besides the kitchen with a living area, hallway, and bathroom, the apartment has 3 bedrooms:
Master Bedroom - Located on the courtyard side, with views of trees, a garden, and authentic Krakow brick walls, home to beautiful swifts in the summer. The courtyard is full of birds. The comfortable, high, custom-made bed, comfortable mattress, wooden floor, and eastern windows that let in morning light provide peace and tranquility. The room also has spacious wardrobes to accommodate all guests' luggage.
Guest Bedroom - A smaller room facing the street, with views of Krakow's rooftops and trees. The sounds of nearby cafes and the city can be heard here. You can rest comfortably in the double bed. Dark burgundy curtains provide beautiful light, limiting sunlight and allowing guests to sleep in.
Living Room - The third room features a large corner sofa that can be converted into a comfortable double bed at night. This room is accessible through double doors, which can be opened to extend the common living space. You decide how to use this room, where we have placed a lamp with a shade made from an authentic sail of one of Poland's legendary sailing ships - Zawisza Czarny.
The apartment is fully electric, so there is no concern about using open flames. A well-equipped new kitchen with an induction hob, oven, refrigerator, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, and Bialetti coffee maker is at your disposal. Meals can be enjoyed at the fold-out, convenient table in the living area.
The convenient bathroom features a shower cabin with a rain shower, a hairdryer, good mirror lighting - everything you need before heading out into the city.
In the hallway and master bedroom, there are built-in wardrobes with mirrors for storing suitcases and personal belongings. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we also provide an iron, ironing board, washing machine, and clothes dryer.
Building: A large, high, multi-level tenement house from the 1930s. The building has no elevator, so you'll need to climb to the 3rd floor, but the views and the apartment's location fully compensate for this inconvenience. The building has renovated common areas and installations, is well-maintained and insulated. The residents include both families and students or foreigners. The atmosphere is very friendly and neighborly, so we ask that you respect the building's community life and blend into its rhythm, providing a unique experience.
To ensure a pleasant start to your stay, we have prepared a set of basic hygiene items, including toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and shower gel. However, please note that these items are available in limited quantities and are intended primarily for the first days of your stay. For continued comfort, we recommend that you purchase additional supplies as needed.
You will surely find everything you need for a successful and pleasant stay.
