About this villa rental
The charming 25-year-old 400m2 family home, Tourist licence number, 10 bed, ETV 5930, is a solar-powered Estate. “Son Capella” is 2 km from the town of Porreres in the centre of the island of Mallorca, has a magnificent 10.000m2 landscaped garden with a 11x 5m salt water pool. It has its own well with drinkable water.
The owners of the property very kindly permit the guests to leave the property at a time that suits their flights on the last day of their holiday. no exit necessary at 10 am!
We enter the house from the south into the entrance hall, where there is a WC, and it leads into a 25m2 reading room, to the east and straight ahead north, into the skylit atrium, which is the distribution point of the house. The 25m2 master suite with a 200 x 180m bed, with shower, two sinks and a bath is to the left (west) and the kitchen-dining room and open terrace on the right (east).
Up the stone stairwell, on the left of the main entrance, there is a landing area with a library. It has a large variety of books in English, French, German and Spanish. This is a lovely space for children to play, in the heat of the day while adults have their siesta. This leads into a single bedroom with a sink to the south, above the front door with a 140x 200m bed.
To the east and west there are two 60m2 apartments. We have house bells to call people from upstairs as it is so big. There are ventilators as it is hot on the first floor in the summer. The house does not have AC.
The westerly apartment has two single beds and one double 150 x 200m, a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette.
The second east-facing apartment has two double beds, 180 x 200m and a 120x200m, bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette.
There are 300lt of solar heated water, which takes its time (up to 5 min) to get to all bathrooms. One shower at a time!
Closing the shutters on the East and South facades during the day leaves the house beautifully cool with its 45cm thick walks.
In the centre of the garden, there is a covered terrace with a dining table for 8 under a mulberry tree. Further down the garden, there is the chicken coop with fresh eggs every day depending on the time of year.
The east-facing terrace with a 12-seat dining table, is lovely for evening meals after the heat of the day, looking out over the swimming pool and the garden.
The owner of the property will be quietly living in the Guest House to support the guests as need be.

I believe the property is ideal for your group as there is lots of space and facilities for all age groups.
We will reside in the cottage which is completely separate and totally private. You will not even know that we are there unless you want to.
It is very important that you understand that the use of the pool is at you own risk.
The children must wear armbands at all times when in the garden so that there is no risk of drowning in the pool.
In the next village it is possible to hire bicycles and we have space to park 5 cars.
There Is a cleaning lady who come 3 times a week to maintain the house.
The rental price includes:
pool terrace preparations (in the mornings),
pool and garden maintenance,
cleaning lady 3 times a week,
basic condiments provided in the kitchen ex:spices, beverages (teas and coffee), oil, etc.
change of sheets after 7 days, if requested.
