Will not return and will not recommend

location to the purpose I was in the city for

1. Cleanliness - Bad smell in the room 2. No cold drinking water available only 2 small bottles available at a time which were at room temp and hence they are increasing their plastic consumption 3. Air conditioning not working had to be sorted 3-4 hours into our stay 4. Bar area not available near the pool and jacuzzi 5. Overpriced for the service they are providing ( Food taste is average and cocktails are average too )

Had a nightmare of a stay for 1 day!! Absolutely trash stay, and services in terms of price! Extremely overpriced, rude behavior, taking money without approval and let me tell you how - So we had a booking from a booking site - Booking.com. We were about to check in at around 2 in the afternoon. As a policy of their hotel, they take a credit card number for guarantee. But to our surprise when we reached the hotel at around 2 they had already transacted Rs. 6702 from the guarantee credit card without our notice and permission. Issue here is not with the policy but with the hiding of information about our money being taken. They asked us to pay Rs. 6702 again during the check in without informing us about the previous transaction which we only got to know after a couple of hours on checking the bank statement. SO THEY TOOK DOUBLE THE MONEY PROMISED AND HAVE NOT REFUNDED YET!!! We discussed it with the manager "Pravashish Ghosh" (9674960175) who promised on checkout that the money will be refunded the very next day or without 3-7 days. Writing this review after a week now without any sort of refund. When contacted again with the manager enquiring about the same he was extremely rude, dismissive, and abusive towards me as a woman unlike what he was to my friend who is a male. He is a chauvinist, disrespects women and cannot take it from a female despite my query being genuine and my money being stuck with them without my consent more than the number of days as per promised by them. They are looting guests in broad daylight in terms of policy, are abusive when you ask for the money back, and the manager is doing all the dirty work against women in special.

standard not worth the money

only the view from the room, rest are standard just upto the mark.

there is no private roof top for the people who are staying in the hotel, the room service not great and the bathtub is terrible in a way the water fill the tub also the rest in there.

It was a good experience!

Location of the hotel is good. Staff was courteous.

Breakfast size can be improved. Bathroom taps were jammed. Air Conditioning was poor. Possibility of availability of the smoking rooms.

Amazing views

amazing pool and enjoyed going to Capella bar in the evening. staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable and trendy.

lots of construction work ongoing meaning it could be very noisy at times. the jacuzzi was not clean.

the atmosphere and their swimming pool

their room service was not active I asked them for 2 plates they took 20 minutes for it and in night when I asked again they not even send it so I have to manage somehow that’s what I didn’t like….

Excellent value for a majestic suite in the heart of Bidhannagar

Excellent room with only the most magnificent view of Bidhannagar from both rooms. Fantastic sleep quality, great service and the access to the Jacuzzi was a welcome bonus. The restaurant is quite vibrant and popular by itself so having that at five paces was just brilliant. Very close to CK market for the odd medicine requirement and very close to most Salt Lake hotspots.

The Jacuzzi could've been cleaner and warmer though I'd stepped in just after a thunderstorm, in their defence. No other complaints.

Arrogant, rude and ignorant staff.

Please think hundred times before booking this hotel, they have become arrogant, rude and ignorant. We decided to have breakfast at the hotel buffet, but what happened with us was unimaginable. They had stale breads in the buffet with flies and cockroaches in the basket. There were houseflies everywhere in the buffet. Dosa they served us was full of oil and uncooked, we had to get it replaced. We got food poisoning after having breakfast, and spent one whole day in the room trying to cope up. Even the hotel staff is rude and arrogant, they questioned if it was really food poisoning.

Convenient from the airport after a long flight.

No one was on the ground floor to bring in our luggage. I had to come up to level 19 to get a bellboy.

Good for one time visit

The pool aminities and the city view from the room.

The room service facilities were delayed by almost 3hrs to get a single service fulfilled(example, we asked for wine glasses which we had to call atleast 4-5times to get the same done). There is no valet parking facility for such a prestigious hotel which came quiet a shock to us.

Amazing stay at Altair

The room - it was clean and spacious. Very comfortable with all amenities. The bathroom was clean and the toiletries were good. The food at cafe capella was delicious. I loved their craft beer, which is an added advantage to their entire list of good things
