About this house rental
Welcome to our converted old forge! Make some memories at this unique, family-friendly places that sleeps 5. Step into history at this listed property that used to be an old forge with its period features from years gone by. There are some low beams all throughout, so you'll have to mind your head!
Nestled in the charming town of Tenterden known as the Jewel of the Weald, it is steps away from cobbled streets, independent shops, pubs and restaurants and historic churches and buildings.
With three newly refurbished bedrooms decorated for comfort and a free parking space, this is a perfect base for your Kent adventure.
Master bedroom: This is the only room at the top of the house, and with a lovely comfortable king size bed with cotton linen for a pleasant restful sleep.
Bedroom 2: This double room has a great view where you can watch the hustle and bustle of the world go by!
Bedroom 3: A lovely peaceful room with a comfy single bed and rail to hang your clothes.
Bathroom: Low beams in this room and a low level shower and bathtub its equipped with plenty of towels.
Cloakroom: Conveniently located downstairs.
Living room: A very spacious room where you can enjoy a relaxing evening. Equipped with a 50" TV and ready for any streaming services you desire. Free Wi-Fi is available and if you are visiting with little ones you'll find some toys and games in the cupboard to keep them entertained!
Kitchen: Another spacious room where you'll find a large dining table that seats 6 so you can all enjoy a meal together. The usual appliances ( fridge, electric cooker and microwave oven) will be available as well as a washing machine and dishwasher supplied for your convenience. If you are a coffee drinker you can also enjoy a lovely morning coffee made from the Nespresso machine.
Outside space: A patio south facing garden with sun most of the day.
Parking Space: You'll have the convenience of a parking space if you are driving to the accommodation, so no need to worry of where to park when you arrive.
Explore the Town: Only 2 mins walk to the High street of Tenterden, known as the Jewel of the Weald, boasts historic buildings and a wealth of independent shops. Stroll through cobbled streets, discover hidden gems, and soak in the town’s enchanting atmosphere. Explore the picturesque countryside and nearby nature reserves. Take a scenic ride on the steam train, visit St Mildred's Church that is soaked in history or visit the local vineyards for wine tasting. Whatever you decide there is plenty to see and do.
