About this cottage rental
This Suffolk pink cottage, built in 1830, is located in a great position at the north end of the high street within easy reach of the independent shops, eateries, and the wonderful shingle beach stretching to Thorpeness. Interiors retain all the old world charm with low ceilings and diamond lattice windows through the cosy living room, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor; two doubles and two singles on the first floor with the family bathroom.
Review - "Fab cottage! Well maintained and super dog friendly. Perfect location for the town and sea front walks."
Step down off the high street into the entrance where you can hang your coats before going through to the living room, opening to the dining room, leading to the rear hall. Doors from the hall open into the courtyard and kitchen which also has a door to the outside bin store. Steep carpeted stairs rise from the hall to the first-floor landing with a handrail to steady you. Wooden flooring runs through the living and dining rooms, with tiles in the kitchen and hall.
LIVING ROOM
A cosy room with leather sofas and chairs, coffee tables, a TV on a stand with DVD player, and a Gas fire for cosy winter evenings.
DINING ROOM
Off the living room and conveniently next to the kitchen, this room’s furnished with a table and seven chairs (extra for visitors!).
KITCHEN
The galley style kitchen is equipped for catering at home if you prefer, with an electric oven, four ring hob with extractor above, under counter fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a toaster, kettle and a Krupps coffee machine (takes standard Nespresso pods).

DOUBLE ROOM
A quaint double room with bedside drawers, a chair, and a built in wardrobe so you can unpack and settle in.
SINGLE BEDROOM
Enjoy the sea view through the little window in this double aspect room. There’s a step up to this cosy room which has a 2ft 6 inches single bed and pull-out twin if required although bedding is not supplied for this bed and the occupancy is for a maximum of five guests due to the size of the property overall. There’s storage in a wardrobe and bedside cabinet, plus a wicker chair.
SINGLE BEDROOM
Sitting quietly at the back of the cottage with a glimpse of the fishing huts, this little room has a standard single bed and a chest of drawers.
BATHROOM
This modern bathroom is fitted with a P shaped bath with an electric shower over it, a grab rail and shower screen, a wash basin in a vanity unit, and a WC, a heated towel rail (towels will be supplied for all guests), and natural light.
PARKING/COURTYARD
Ann Page Cottage sits at the north end of the high street. Whilst there's no allocated parking you can generally find unrestricted spaces in front and behind The White Lion hotel which is really close.
At the back of the cottage is a walled courtyard with a dining table and chairs for meals al-fresco.
There is a high chair, travel cot and stairgate all available in the walk wardrobe upstairs.
The courtyard is dog safe but obviously your pet (one only please due to the size of the cottage) who we welcome wholeheartedly, are ultimately your responsibility.
The cottage is strictly no smoking.
One well behaved pet is very welcome.
Please take any glass bottles etc. to the recycling bins by the beach or at Fort Green car park.
Please could you put your refuse in the appropriate wheelie bins in the small courtyard.
