Canal Cottage consists of an open-plan living space with a TV, woodburing stove, dining seating, breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle and toaster. The bedrooms include a ground-floor double and a twin. There is also a ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio, artificial lawn and furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry no smoking. Guests can find a shop within 0.6 miles and a pub within 0.7 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Make memories to last a lifetime at Canal Cottage. It is home to some lively Irish pubs, mouth watering restaurants and quaint shops, and also plays host to a number of popular festivals which are held throughout the year. Walkers and ramblers will be delighted to learn that the town is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, woodlands and lakes, as well as being overlooked by Sliabh an Iarainn, the iron mountain, which is approximately 585 metres high and has a mining history dating back over 200 years. To the north of the town is Lough Allen, the third largest lake on the River Shannon, with excellent angling and opportunities for windsurfing, canoeing and other water sports. If golf is your game, you will find four excellent courses within easy reach. Drumshanbo has something for everyone, whatever time of year you choose to visit.
