About this house rental
Discover this delightful two-bedroom stone cottage in the thriving village of Blisworth, surrounded by handy amenities such as two pubs, restaurants, and a coffee house. Milton Keynes centre is a mere 15 miles away and offers a plethora of eateries to choose from, as well as a buzzing cultural scene and shops. Keen walkers are bound to enjoy the well-trodden tracks at Salcey Forest and Sywell Country Park, both within 12 miles of the property, or venture around Stowe Gardens National Trust (14 miles) for some of the finest Georgian landscapes in the UK. For a day of adrenaline-fuelled driving, Silverstone Circuit (11 miles) is the ultimate destination for gearheads.
Make your way down the steps and into the courtyard garden before letting yourselves into this charming paradise. Inside the cottage, you’ll find yourself in the attractive kitchen, where you can whip up delicious dishes with the ingredients you sourced on your travels. Kick back with a glass of something crisp as you dine around the table in the open-plan lounge/diner. This room is spacious yet cosy, with its warming wood burner and plenty of seating for the whole group. After dinner, snuggle up and watch a movie on the Smart TV or curl up with a good book and a well-deserved cup of tea. If you need to catch up on emails, the office is down the hall and provides a large desk. You’ll find both tastefully decorated bedrooms on the first floor. The first is a double bedroom with double bedside cabinets and a wardrobe. The family bathroom is also on this level. Down the hall is a king-size room with pretty furnishings, a wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with a WC.
Outside, savour mornings in your private courtyard garden and relax with a coffee and a newspaper. When the weather is kind, the BBQ and patio furniture are ideal for dining alfresco. A private drive at the back of the property has space for one car or street parking.
