We had the opportunity to stay at this quaint guest house in a charming district of Calgary, and our experience was thoroughly delightful. Despite its small size, the house exuded a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
Our hosts, Giovanni and his wife, were the epitome of hospitality. Their warmth and friendliness greatly enhanced our stay, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived until our departure.
Our room featured a lovely balcony, providing us a delightful spot to enjoy the calm mornings and peaceful evenings. Although the guest house has a shared bathroom system, we found it to be clean and well-maintained at all times, which is a testament to the hosts' dedication to their guests' comfort.
A standout aspect of our stay was the Neapolitan-style breakfast. It was a unique and tasty treat that added a distinctive touch to our visit, making our mornings feel extra special.
We recommend this guest house for anyone planning a short stay in Calgary. Its comfortable and homey ambiance combined with the amiable hospitality of Giovanni and his wife make it an excellent choice for a one or two-night visit. While we enjoyed our time there, guests seeking more private amenities may want to consider the shared bathroom setup before booking.
Overall, this cozy guest house offers a charming slice of Calgary hospitality and a delightful culinary start to your day. We left with warm memories and would consider returning in the future.

One room (I assume the biggest one of three) was spacious and had a beautiful roof top terrace. The other room had far simpler furniture. The bathroom had a bathtub, was huge and comfortable. However, there was an uncovered window that connected the common bathroom (there was only one bathroom for all three rooms) with the terrace (accessible only from the biggest room), which was uncomfortable since you can very well "spy" on people on either end. The internal garden was also cute, but we didn't have time to use it. The landlords seemed nice and helpful.
The place is situated on a narrow street, so unexperienced drivers with slightly bigger cars can find it difficult to park the car. The landlords didn't speak English, however we managed to understand each other. They lived in the same building with the same entrance, which kind of add a feeling like they always kept an eye on us (even though there was no such moment during our stay). There was no good eating options around, so we had to drive all the way to the center of Cagliari.
Our flight was early in the morning, so we asked for a take away breakfast, which contained of a few cheap artificial store-bought pastries and snacks, maybe it was a bit poor because I asked for it on arrival.
If you don't travel by car, or come for longer than one night, I wouldn't recommend this place - it's expensive, far away from the city center, and has only one bathroom for 3 double rooms. Probably the majority of the inconveniences could have been avoided if I would have contacted the landlords prior arrival.
+I'd advise to the landlords to add a possibility to choose the kind of beds (double or single) the guest wants to have prior booking.
