The whole house is very well equipped and comfortably furnished. There are three spacious bedrooms in total, all air conditioned. Two bedrooms are twin rooms and the third is a large master double leading onto a sunny private balcony, which in turn leads up to the roof solarium. Two of the bedrooms have private balconies, whilst the third has views out over the rear terrace. All with large fitted or Ikea wardrobes, Ikea drawers, aircon and very powerful remote control ceiling fans. The master bedroom has a double bed, large fitted wardrobe, Ikea drawers, full-length mirror and a safe for your valuables within the concrete floor of the wardrobe - very secure! It also has stairs leading off the private balcony up to the very large roof solarium above.
A fully equipped Ikea kitchen opens onto the private rear terrace. The house also has a very large, bright & airy living/dining area with large corner sofa. El Divino complex is ideally located at just 25 minutes drive from Corvera (RMU) airport or 50 minutes drive from Alicante (ALC) airport.
We are a family complex in a very a peaceful area, just 10-12 minutes stroll from the beautiful Mar Menor beach and just a 5 minute stroll walk to plenty of local bars, shops, supermarkets and the 525 Plaza with it's many fabulous restaurants. The old town of Los Alcazares is just a 15 minute walk away or you can catch the mini train there and/or back that operates throughout the Summer months.
You most definitely do not need to hire a car if you do not wish to as everything you need is well within walking distance.
Mar Menor: The gently sloping shallow waters of the Mar Menor mean it is much warmer than the Mediterranean, making it safer for young children as it is very placid and there is very good visibility across the water. You can walk out for many metres with the warm water still only lapping your thighs and no big waves, no tides or strong currents, so you can relax and enjoy your day at the beach. With the many cafes and bars dotted along the beach it's a great way to spend the day and soak up the sun. Every kind of water sport is available!
The mineral-rich water of the Mar Menor is renowned for its health-giving properties and there are nearby thermal baths which have existed since Roman times. The very salty water in the Mar Menor lagoon (San Pedro round to La Manga) is supposed to be very good to bathe in, especially for skin conditions. Many people come to the northern end of the Mar Menor to cover themselves in the black mud from the salinas, which is supposed to be full of all sorts of nutrients.
Flights: Costa Calida is now more accessible than ever with numerous low cost airlines flying into both Murcia Corvera (RMU) & Alicante (ALC) from all over the UK and Europe.
Shopping/Leisure: Los Alcazares was named after the palaces that stood in medieval times and is still un-spoilt, retaining much of its original Spanish charm. Most of the narrow streets lead directly to the 7 km, sandy Blue Flag beach. There are plenty of restaurants and beach bars providing a wide range of cuisine. Los Alcazares offers a non-package-tour environment. With its wonderful all year round climate it has something for all seasons. The town's market days are Tuesday and Saturday when a wide variety of goods are available. You most definitely do not need a car during your stay in Los Alcazares as everything you need is on your doorstep well within walking distance, however if you do like to venture further afield there are also many modern high street shops and shopping malls within easy reach.
The beautiful historic city of Murcia, is only 30 minutes by car, with its many squares & beautiful architecture on it's narrow winding streets. The famous historical city of Cartagena is only 20 minutes drive away with it's famous amphitheatre and glitzy port where you can sit and watch the cruise liners docking whilst treating yourself to lunch or dinner. Both are well worth exploring for their shops, architecture and history.
15-20 minutes drive away is the fabulous Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, open 365 days a year! All the latest shops and some fabulous restaurants. A 10 minute drive away we has Dos Mares shopping complex and it's lovely shops and restaurants and a bowling alley!

Fabulous house with ample room for our family. Very clean & well equipped. The complex is gorgeous, very well kept, very quiet. Short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. We've not visited the area before, and it was perfect for a much needed quiet holiday.
Highly recommend Veni, Penny Farthing and Fresco restaurants in Plaza 525, as well as Buena Vista, down at the beach.
The Mar Menor is beautiful, kids loved the inflatable in the sea, as well as the pedaloes. Old Town was a short walk, and very beautiful.
As other reviews mention, the only thing that would make the home perfect, would be the installation of air conditioning. The ceiling fans were welcome, but air con really is necessary.
Thanks for a fabulous holiday! :)

Lovely 5 night break at a well situated property in the resort with excellent communication with Andi the property owner.

Great location. Nice house. Roof terrace and pool ideal for sun worshippers. Only negative was fans rather than air con (but air con was not advertised!) as the fans were a little erratic to operate. Owner and local key holder very responsive and helpful. location ideal, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and beach within 10 min walk.
Bus stops near by to go to Murcia or Cartegena. Both worth a visit.

The house is lovely, very spacious and in beautiful settings. The roof top terrace gave great view of the mountain and agricultural lands. The gated community gives you feeling of safety. Very close to the 525 strip and supermarkets. A short walk in the other direction and you are in reach of the Spanish bars/restaurants and the Tuesday market. I would look to stay here again the next time we visit.

We had a lovely week at Casa Lola and were very lucky with the weather.
The house is in an ideal spot as everything is within walking distance including the supermarkets, beach and restaurants.
The house itself was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a family of six.
The grounds and gardens are very well maintained with everything very secure for children.
All communications with Andi were excellent from the start and she was very happy to help with any queries that we had.
We would definitely like to return again as a very enjoyable week was had by all. Thank you Andi for letting us stay.

We had a fab family holiday in Los Alcázares, staying in the 'Casa Lola' apartment.
The accommodation was perfect for our family of 5 with a master bedroom and two twin rooms. The kitchen and living areas were perfectly clean and very well equipped.
Location was good too, 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket and cafe. The old town is approx 15 mins walk away.
The apartment complex is very secure and well maintained with two swimming pools to cool off in if the weather is hot.
I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a visit to the area!

We didn't realise the size of the property when we booked and it's the largest we have ever stayed in.
Clean, all the bits and bobs you need for cooking and living.
5 mins from the 525 strip for restaurants and shops.
Roof terrace has sun most of the day so even on a winters day it was warm up there.
Big satellite and HD TV lots to watch on a winters night.
We had a really good time.

The property was lovely but could not sleep no air conditioning had to book into hotel for 3 nights using accommodation through the day but staying in hotel at night so we could all get a sleep which cost me an extra 700 euros also had to buy fans at an extra cost
This property needs air conditioning if you are renting out in the summer

Apartment was in need of a deep clean and bathrooms updating.Bed linens & towels worse for wear.We left after one night as it definitely didn’t meet my expectations as I have rented for over twenty years in Los Alcázares and never have experienced this before. Also it should be mentioned that the area appears to have issues with crime as it is like Fort Knox and owner has a note about two bbqs having being robbed previously and the existing bbq is locked and chained .
I received a partial refund from owner as I have photos to prove all of my points.
I didn’t want to leave a review but in hindsight it could people who perhaps couldn’t afford to change accommodation if these issues were still ongoing.

Andi is a great host and very responsive. Whilst we were there the internet and satellite tv both had problems. Andi quickly resolved the issues and kept us informed of the progress.
The villa is large enough to allow for people to spread out. The pool is excellent and very well maintained. The front porch is great to sit on and relax out of the sun.
Plenty of restaurants and bars are within a short walk and there is a wide range of culinary choices to be found.

Lovely home, great holiday
Fab week in this lovely house. Great to have things set up for kids which was massively appreciated such as stair gates, travel cot, high chair etc. The only thing I would change is to have air con as even with the fans it was hot for the kids! Andi was so helpful with any questions and sorting transfers from the airport. Great location and lovely pool, perfect for the children. Thank you x

So good we're going back next year, but for longer!
As the title says, we enjoyed our stay so much that we wished we'd stayed longer, so next year we'll be back.
The house and facilities are superb, everything you would need for a long or short stay, great area to stay 5 minutes walk to the restaurants and 10 minutes to the beach. The house came fully equipped and everything worked perfectly. Check in was so simple and Steve was there to meet us on the day. Communication with Andi was great and she is very responsive.
Can't wait for next year.

Fabulous Holiday In Perfect Location
We have been visiting Los Alcazares for the last 7 years with our 3 children. It is such a friendly, safe place and a great location.
This is the first time we have rented a place in the El Divino complex and again it was the perfect location. Just 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants and a further 5 to the beach. The closure of San Javier airport means transfer was further, but still only 25 mins away (i think we have been spoilt over the years with only a 10 min transfer!)
You can tell the owner has been renting her place out for a long time as she has thought of EVERYTHING!! There is an amazing file full of information from how to use various things to directions to local markets and best places to eat.
We had an issue with an appliance during our stay and it was fixed with no messing within 24 hours!
We wouldnt hesitate to stay again, it has been a pleasure!

the fridge need fixing in to the cupboard and the tv remote did not work. Which when told to the property manager at the end of the stay he just said he new about it but had not had time to fix them both. The property is not bad the double bed is very small and for to adults it's a bit tight. Other than that it was on par with other rentals in this area.

First time to Los Alcázares and it won’t be our last, weather constantly hitting the highs and the beach is lovely with very warm waters. Ideal for young families and alike. Plenty of restaurants and bars to relax in and to enjoy watching the world go by.

Fantastic
We had a great time in this lovely house, it's in a great position with everything you could possibly need all within a 5-10 minute walk, a car certainly is not necessary. Andi is easy to deal with and has lots of tips on where to eat and places of interest. Definitely be back in the not to distant future all positive and nothing negative to say. If your thinking of booking just do it.

Fantastic house and amenities!
Just returned from a fantastic holiday with my husband, daughter her boyfriend and my mum. The house lent itself perfectly to our group. The house was furnished to a high standard with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Perfectly located as only a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars! Great communication from Andi and a really nice touch to have the essentials in the fridge when we arrived as a late flight. A really nice location on the complex as nice and quiet and the complex was maintained to a high standard.
We’ll definitely return. It was incredibly hot whilst we we there (I believe much hotter than usual) and the only thing that would have made our holiday a bit better was to have air conditioning in the house. Although I’m guessing the strong ceiling fans would usually do a good job!
A throughly enjoyable holiday. Thank you for letting us use the house 😎

Nicely located within the lovely El Divino complex close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach
The complex is generally reckoned to be among the best in the area with nicely lawned grounds and two good sized and well maintained pools. The house was ideal for our family group consisting of grandparents, parents and two under fives. We all slept really well as there was very little external noise. As others have reported the property really feels like home from home with everything you would need and more. Our host was very helpful and communicative and we would have no hesitation in booking with her again.

Very good holiday town house and in agreat position for the sun!
The property is well equiped and in a good position for the sun all day. Access to the lovely quiet and well maintained pool was down a passage which we had not expected from the photo on your web site.
It was well equipped and comfortable although one or two things needed fixing. The two twin rooms need mirrors and locks would be great on the bathroom and shower room door. The towel ring on the shower room also needs fixing. It was great to have beach towels provided and washing facilities fine. The floors could have been cleaner and it was a shame we could not use the solarium and balcony in the main room as they were dirty and unkept. However overall it was a good place and we would return.

Perfect family accommodation in an ideal location
Casa Lola was perfectly suited to our three generation family which included our one year old grandson. Spacious, clean and tidy in a very safe environment and complete with lots of little extras, especially for toddlers.
The pool area and grounds are spotless and were not overcrowded at all during our stay in May.
A short walk to the supermarket (shopping trolley provided) and also to numerous restaurants, virtually all of which we tried and they were all excellent. If you want value then try the Asia Star, prawn crackers, choice starter, choice main, choice rice, choice dessert, bottle of wine and complimentary schnapps all for 10.50 euros per person!!!
Or visit El Patio 11 for a huge lamb shoulder at 18 euros. A bit more upmarket is Little Scicilly offering a fantastic fillet steak for 23 euros
A liitle further on from the main plaza brings you to the long paseo bordering the Mar Menor, shallow warm waters great for little ones and adults alike. Bars and restaurants along here too, you certainly won't go thirsty or hungry in Los Alcazares. Trips out to Cartagena and Murcia are well worthwhile and can be reached by bus.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday, many thanks Andi.

Fanatastic family house for a lovely relaxing holiday.
This house is lovely, with lots of little extras thought of, some games and books. Some extra beach paraphanelia like umbrellas and chairs and toys for the kids. We all loved staying here and my 3 year old has already asked when we can go back (next year we hope!) the pool is so close and very well kept which we all loved going in. The beach is just a walk away and lots of fantastic little cafes near by who were all so welcoming. We even had a few lie ins with out little ones because of the black out shutters.
Thanks so much Andi for making such a welcoming house-everything well thought of and lots of local information in the folder.

Good location, neat and spacious
We were here four months from November to the end of February.
Playing golf the place was ideal for us. We are coming back next November.
This time of the year we could also enjoy the fruits of the orange tree on the front yard. Very juicy.
