About this house rental

The house is situated in West Wittering and the village of East Wittering is only a 10 min walk/3 min drive away.

The house has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, it is light and airy with underfloor heating, a log burner, integral Sonos sound system, 4K TV and lots of kitchen gadgets including a Quooker Tap, Drinks Fridge and Neff Coffee machine, fridge freezer and plate warmers .

There is also a kayak and various sized children’s and adults life jackets for you to use free of charge.
All users of the kayak must wear a life jacket.

East wittering village has many shops providing a variety of local provisions including 2 traditional green-grocers, 2 butchers, 2 bakeries, 2 supermarkets along with a variety of cafes, takeaways and restaurants. There is a shingle beach at the end of our road (2min walk!) and West Wittering Blue Flag beach is only a 5 minute drive away (20 min walk) and East Head Nature reserve with miles of white sandy beach and dunes is easily accessible too.

There are a wide range of watersports facilities at 2XS situated at West Wittering Beach, these including windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, paddle-boarding. The West Wittering car park also has a shop and café and enables you to gain easy access to the East Head nature reserve.

Sailing facilities can be found at Chichester Marina, Itchenor SC, Bosham SC and Apuldrum SC. Cobnor activity centre in Chidham also has a great kids activity program.

There is also good Bird watching at the RSPB Medmerry nature reserve near Earnley.

Nestled in the South Downs National Park, Goodwood is only 11 miles away and holds the world famous Festival of Speed and Revival along with several horse racing fixtures including 'Glorious' Goodwood. The historic walled city of Chichester is 8 miles away with its stunning cathedral, theatre, cinema, excellent shops and a direct train service from London to Victoria (85 minutes). Drive East on the A27 and you will find Arundel with its Castle and Brighton beyond. To the West is Portsmouth with its historic dockyard and outlet shopping at Gunwharf Quays

Large and spacious house with all the features you need for a comfortable stay. There were 7 of us and the place could readily accommodate 9 (10 if one is under 2). You can see the sea from the front gate and it is literally a 90 second walk away (note - East Wittering is pebbly at high tide, but West Wittering has lovely sand and is a 6 minute drive away). Esther, our host, was readily available, was especially helpful and gave us some excellent help and advice. We really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this property for a great family holiday.

Esther was the perfect host, very responsive and really helpful. The house is stunning and in such a great location, literally 30 seconds from the beach! The house was spotless and had absolutely everything you could need. It was the perfect base for a girls weekend away - we didn't want to leave!

Fantastic property with plenty of space with the annex too for all 8 adults, 2 kids, baby and 2 dogs. Beautiful house with everything you need for a great weekend. The location is a stones throw from the sea. We had a fab long weekend.

Gorgeous place, everything you could wish for and once again (this was not our first stay!) the weather played ball and made the short break seem like a long, wonderful holiday. Our manager Esther couldn't have been more helpful and went way above and beyond to make sure we had just what we needed. Thoroughly recommended (...but don't take our slot!).

A spacious very well equipped house in an excellent location just yards from the beach, kayak, paddle boards ,wet suits etc, plenty of outdoor space and furniture. All you could need for a wonderful beach holiday. East Wittering has everything you need in the way of shops, restaurants etc. We absolutely loved it.

The house was just what we wanted . Perfect 4 days stay . Didn’t use the car once . Weather was wonderful . Swimming , paddle boarding , walking , family diners , beach picnics , pubs , fish and chips . Comfortable beds , hot showers , outside seating . Open plan living worked so well . Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay in this house with our three children and another family. The house is really nice inside and outside space too, has everything you might need, and is right next to the beach. The property is fabulous. Every home comfort and more has been thought about. There are perfect sitting, socialising and relaxing areas both inside and outside the property. The kayak and paddle board and other equipment really added to our holiday experience and with the beach only minutes away they were used a great deal. We really had a fabulous time, thank you.

The house was very clean and spacious, with lots of different areas, inside and out for a large group to comfortably enjoy. Location was a 2minute walk to East wittering beach and only a ten minute walk to the East wittering shops. The host was very easy to get hold off also. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful spacious house which was ideal for our extended family holiday which included four children under 4 and a dog. Lovely garden and terrace which was in full sun during the day and plenty of room for the little ones to play. The host Esther was always available if needed.

I guess the title says it all really - 3rd time staying at at this wonderful house. There are now 4 sun-loungers in the rear garden and some new rattan-style seating with an extra table making the outdoor space even more useful than before. It's a great house, well looked after and presented - thoroughly recommended.

We had such a truly memorable time staying in this property - it is so much bigger than the photos do justice to… the decor is gorgeous - all nautically themed etc. roof balconies lovely as were just sitting outside on the many loungers and chairs provided with sun downers and good company. We went to both east and west wittering beach - both lovely beaches. House so well equipped with everything one could ever want/need and more! So comfortable!! We are so grateful to the host for the extra touches - both large and small given to us during our stay - 1 member of our party not at all well but this was no problem at all - everything they needed could be reached on the ground floor incl, bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchen, lounge, exit to garden etc. we have stayed in many self catering cottages over the years and nowhere has come even close to the standard offered by this house - we were all very content, box of games and books v gratefully received by the youngest member of group. Everything was so clean also. A total dream property with the sea literally at the end of the road - about 8 houses away - it was perfect. We thank you so much for such a gorgeous stay and such amazing memories. Our only regret being that we didn’t stay for even longer and that it may prove impossible to come back to visit.

Loved the house, loved the location. Everything was easy and accommodating from the host. Would just say one of the beds is more of a kids beds so if you are more than 8 adults I would book the annex for the extra cost as It would be worth it. Overall house is fab and had everything you can think of needing.

The property is stunning and even better than in the pictures. Spotless throughout and with an extremely well stocked kitchen. Perfect for our large group of family and friends. From the moment you step into this house you will say ‘wow.’ It is bigger than the outside suggests and every detail has been considered. It is beautiful with lots of space and highend fixtures, heated floor and large sliding doors to the immaculate garden and a short walk to the beach. It is a place you will always want to return to.

We had a lovely time at this gorgeous house. Not only was it beautifully maintained and decorated it really felt like home where you could relax and have a lovely holiday. It is very close to the beach and had perfect off-road parking. The host was fantastic and attentive when required. Thank you very much.
