About this cabin rental
Hello and welcome to my family’s cabin.
This cozy cabin is the ideal summer getaway. It sits on 1 acre of land and just minutes away from shopping, dining and recreation. It offers fully furnished kitchen, Wi-Fi, BBQ grill, horseshoe pit, outside seating areas with firepit, enclosed dog kennel and 2 car covered parking.
The cabin was built by my parents in 1979. It was our family’s get away from Yuma’s summer heat. Once my Dad retired in 1999, it became their summer home. My Dad passed away in 2013 and my Mom in 2019. Not being at a point in our lives to utilize it as much as we would like, it was decided to renovate and allow other families to enjoy vacationing here with the all comforts of home.
This Cabin has very special memories to my parents, my brother, 5 grandchildren, myself and all the many friends and family members that spend time here. You may notice some family history, inside the ironing board is the growth chart of my kids along with my niece and nephew. We love the family roots that are here and hope you do too.
On an acre of land, quite and privacy can be expected. We strive to provide an exceptional clean home inside but keep in mind the dirt road and wind may create dust we can’t control between cleanings. Being on a acre of land, expect some outside bugs and ants as we are right on the perimeter of the Sitgreaves National forest. We try to keep the property clean of cactus and over grown grass but at times the fire restrictions don’t allow regular mowing or normal yard maintenance due to potential sparks that may a cause a fire,

Great place! Tucked in a few trees with plenty of privacy this comfortable house was the perfect place to get away from it all. The home decor made us feel like part of the family. Plenty of room to rest and relax indoors or out.

Great little spot in the mountains.
Very nice cabin, w/ everything you need. They even had food & water bowls and treats for the pup. Highly recommended!!

Great get-away stay!
The small home fit our needs perfectly. It was our second stay. We love the privacy of the home. The only thing is that the yard
needs to be spruced up a bit. And the yard table and chairs are not very beneficial as they are terribly uncomfortable. All in all though it was a great affordable stay!

Prefect little cabin. However if your over 6 ft the beds are a little short. Didn't bother me but my husband 🤣😶🤣. My little one just loved the deck. Its just a perfect little cabin for Arizona. Very blessed to have stayed there.

LOVELY
Prefect little cabin. However if your over 6 ft the beds are a little short. Didn't bother me but my husband 🤣😶🤣. My little one just loved the deck. Its just a perfect little cabin for Arizona. Very blessed to have stayed there.

Great little getaway!
This place was incredible. Everything we accidentally forgot at home was already at the house/cabin, and it was just so relaxing! The outdoor seating was amazing, and the inside of the cabin was open and spacious and had just a wonderful feeling!

Went hunting with my brother the first for days. Then got my wife and stayed the last three nights. The cabin was very quite and comfortable. We had a great stay and I got my elk. Nice location for hunting fishing and relaxing. THANK YOU SO MUCH

This is a super cute place. Very clean! We went for our anniversary but plan to return with our two kids. They would love the yard and all the toys.

We had a great stay at this lovely cabin that was reasonably priced. It had comfortable beds and was well equipped with extra items like fans for each bedroom, which is so nice. We didn't use the AC but were glad to have it especially after this summer's record heat. The best part was the quiet; we sat on the porch for hours and it was very peaceful.

Good owner
The owner has done an excellent job of having things you may need at the property. Kitchen was tiny, but extremely well appointed. Lots of thought has gone into having games , outside activities, etc..
We came to enjoy the National Forest ona side by side, so location was excellent. They even provided dog bowls! Thanks Stephanie’

A breath of fresh air!
This cozy cabin in Overgaard was literally "a breath of fresh air"! Such wonderful weather and fresh air during my Summer stay. The cabin was perfect with everything you might need, from comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. I appreciated the hard flooring instead of carpeting, especially with a dog. Lots of little amenities that I liked: magnetic door stops, charging station, motion-detector exterior lights, etc. The cabin sits on an acre and provides privacy on a well-treed lot. We spent a lot of time on the Easterly facing covered porch. The neighborhood was nice and quite and perfect for dog walking.
Stefanie was just a text message away and immediately answered any questions.
I would definitely love to stay at this cabin again.

Nice house for get away.
The only drawback I found was not knowing exactly where it was located. I never saw an address of the property only the property number. Had trouble finding it. Map was deceiving to me

An at home feeling place
From the time we walked in the door we felt like this was our home away from home. You basically only need to bring your clothes, toothbrush and paste and what ever food you want. There is plenty of room for you clothes in the closet, the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom has a dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body soap. There are plenty of towels and even a medicine cabinet that has IB, Tylenol, Aleve and tums. So if you forgot something it’s right there for you! The kitchen has everything you would need to cook with and eat and drink off of. There is even a coffe pot and coffee provided. I took all of that with and didn’t even need to bring it. It was nice to be able to sit outside and have our meals and then have a fire and make S’mores for desert! There is no way to be bored since there is games in the hall closet and several movie to watch! We would definitely stay here again!

everything you need to feel at home
This was a wonderful place to stay, location was great to access many great hikes and also the center of town is very close (love the cinnamon rolls at ponderosa café). Stefanie's attention to detail and abundant amenities made me feel very welcome and at home. I will definitely visit again.

The cabin was clean and well appointed for our stay
We enjoyed our 5 night stay out of the valley heat at this cozy cabin. We especially enjoyed the front porch in the cool evening and during the afternoon thunder shower which was so needed. The cabin is set back from the road on a large lot so traffic noise is not an issue and neighbors are also out of sight to give a nice secluded feel. The family touches make it feel very homey. Our only wishes would be more comfortable mattress and recliner love seat - but to be honest we have temperpedic and lazy boy at home so we are pretty well spoiled. We will definitely consider returning in the future.
