This apartment is unique for its location – 20 mt from the beach - and the fabulous sea view which can be enjoyed from the large sun filled private terrace. The apartment is located at the top floor of a building facing the sea in the old part of Armação. Local market, shops and restaurants at walking distance and large surfaces at short drive distance. The beach is just across the street, stretching around 6 km. The apartment is south oriented and has beautiful sunlight all day long. One comfortable social area with connecting kitchen, one bedroom with a double bed, another room with two single beds and a functional bathroom with bath and shower on top. Table and chairs on the terrace, under retractable awning, for eating and drinking out while enjoying the sea view. AC in bedrooms and heaters available in the winter. Private covered parking at just 100 meters. Internet and cable tv. WiFi. All kind of commerce available, from the local open market at a short walking distance to large surfaces at a few km drive. Free mid-stay cleaning for stays of more than a week.

The view from the big balcony is wonderful! The apartment is clean and there are a lot of useful things, e.g. a trolley for shopping/ going to the beach, a beach umbrella and a fully equipped kitchen. But I think the apartment could use a little "love" here and there. The lights in the bedroom are very bright, here and there are some cracks in the wallpaper and one lounge chair broke down when I sat on it (could be fixed, screw was a little loose). One important thing why I would not come again: On the Saturday we came and the following Thursday, in a distance of no more than 30 meters there was a big (official) party at the square. It went on until 2 o'clock in the morning. In addition to that a new rooftop bar, also 30 meters away, opened. EVERY NIGHT they play loud house music starting at 6 in the evening until 1 o'clock in the morning. It is impossible to sleep even if the windows are closed. Something has to be done about that situation.

We stayed 12 days in February 2023. The balcony from this penthouse is by far the BEST in the city. To get an unobstructed view from one end of the beach to the other allows for the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets as well as watching the activity below. We always felt very safe and the city was not crowded this time of year.
The photos and description were 100% spot on. The building is very modern with good, clean elevators and marble floors. The location is amazing due to the proximity of so many restaurants, coffee shops, farmers market, etc. as well as being so close to the beach and promenade. The penthouse was very clean and comfortable; perfect for the two of us.
We took daily walks (sometimes several walks a day) – we did not feel the need to rent a car. During our walks, we always noticed new things and beautiful architecture in and around the city. Three large grocery stores are within easy walking distance with a few convenience stores located within a block or two. Everything you need to make your own meals and enjoy them is included. We found it fun to figure out how to use certain appliances that weren’t labeled in English, like the stove, oven and washing machine. Based on the length of our stay, we had a complementary cleaning service come mid-stay which was a nice touch. Wi-Fi was excellent. The only thing that would have been nice is to have two keys instead of one but we could have kept it in the lockbox.

A wonderful location! On top floor with one of the most wonderful view of beach! Great location. We found everything within walking distance, e.g. restaurant, grocery store, shops, pastelerias, etc.
The hots were wonderful. They wee always there every time we had questions.

Excellent
The apartment is located in a stunning location - the town is lovely, with sandy beaches. Both the town and the beach are very clean and family friendly. The apartment is very well equipped and is spotlessly clean. While the decor may not be to everyone's taste it is very comfortable (lovely new sofa), and the terrace is STUNNING, looking over the beach and a small 17th century fort where families stroll in the evening . The supermarket, a greengrocer, butcher and baker are within easy walking, no car required. There are restaurants and cafes to suit every budget. I would not hesitate to come back and stay in this property. Though I did not meet Felipe his messages were helpful and courteous at all times.

Splendid stay
Two terrific weeks at the property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If renting a car, make sure it’s small due to tiny parking space. We plan to return!

Une vue magnifique sur la mer
L’appartement est tout à fait conforme aux photos. Les pièces sont petites, mais c’est largement compensé par la grande terrasse. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Wohnung.
Der Meerblick der Wohnung umfasst die gesamte Küste vor Armação de Pêra und ist einfach atemberaubend.
In der Wohnung selbst, hat es an nichts gefehlt und es war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt.
Insgesamt 5/5 Sternen, einfach Top.

BRILLIANT HOLIDAY
Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and the apartment was all that we wanted. The balcony was fantastic with one hundred and eighty degrees stunning views. The weather was wall to wall sunshine, although the temperatures only hovered around sixteen centigrade. The winds could be strong and cold but one could shelter on the balcony behind the walled off section. We intend to return around the same time next year. Highly recommended.

Breathtaking views
The appartment is exactly what the advert shows. We were looking for a place with views and the views were simply mind blowing . We were woken up by the sound of waves and would literally spend hours out in the balcony. Antonio was really quick to respond when the television was not working and tried to solve it in every possible way.This is not luxurious , and the decor was a bit dated but everything was functional and in working order.We would have preferred a larger living room ,as we were a family of four with two grown up kids , but the balcony just made up for it.The other good thing was that it was literally a stones throw away from the beach and was in very close proximity to the shops , wide variety of restaurants and supermarkets. We had a very relaxing 2 week holiday where it was quiet, being a penthouse appartment yet not at all isolated as the location was superb. I would definitely recommend it.

Great position on the beach with views out to see. Kitchen bit dated but full of everything u need even dishwasher tablets and washing detergent. WiFi , lcd tv.dvd.hifi. books. Garage down the street. Lots of shops and restaurants. 25 mins from airport.

Beautiful panoramic views
Apartment well equipped. Beautiful terrace with panoramic sea views. However we had slight problem with air con in in bedroom with twin beds. This made sleeping difficult.

Amazing place! Le paradis!
Notre coup de coeur! Tout était parfait. M. Faria est vraiment très gentil, toujours disponible. La vue sur la mer, le confort, tout est là. Une adresse à retenir. Nous devions y rester une semaine et nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir prolonger le séjour. Que du bonheur chez M. Antonio Faria.

Perfect apartment in perfect location
We were fortunate to book and stay for 18nights. We found the apartment was home from home , especially the most comfortable double bed. The view is fantastic from the large balcony. The weather was warm and sunny. We loved listening to the sea breaking on the sandy shore with the window/door open at night, very calming. There is very good TV channels and WiFi. Whilst the apartment is not luxurious it feels very warm, comfortable and safe and clean. For those doing self-catering the kitchen is very well equipped. For people eating out in restaurants there are lots of choices nearby and very reasonably priced. We used the underground garage,200mt away as street parking is not always easy. Can we suggest a new shower head for the shower, this would help to reduce hot water usage. When the sun is shining you will find yourself living on the balcony not in the apartment which probably has the best views in Armacao de Pera. Contact with the owner was by e-mail with instant response.

A perfect location with wonderful views
We had a lovely time as the apartment has superb views, complete with a very friendly seagull! It Is perfectly located as there are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance and the beach is directly in front of the apartment. It is very safe and secure, being 6 floors up. It is also quiet as it is in a pedestrian area and the sound of the waves will send you to sleep.
Whilst not luxurious it is very well appointed, with lots of utensils, crockery and cutlery to use. The dishwasher and washing machine were much appreciated.
The double bed and pillows in the main bedroom are very comfortable, which is not always the case with Portuguese beds. The two bedrooms are compact but well appointed. As there were only two of us we only used the double bedroom.We did not use the air conditioning in the bedrooms so cannot comment on their efficiency.
The bathroom was very clean if a little dated, but water pressure was good in the shower, although a larger shower head would have been appreciated.
The garage, which is about 200 metres or so away and is a reasonable additional cost, is useful as the streets are not easy to park in close to the apartment. Our car was quite difficult to park as it was quite large so, if you are hiring a car, choose a smaller model.
If you want a swish, glamorous apartment this is not for you but if you want a little slice of Portugal with memorable views, try it.

Great appartment in excellent location.
This appartment is very well equipped, cable TV, DVDs, WiFi, everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Great location, super large terrace, not over looked, view on the beach and town, see the fishing boats launched in the morning, walking distance to everything. The owner is very nice and very helpful, someone is always there if needed. I recommend this rental appartment without hesitation. Thanks to Antonio for a great break in Portugal, Paul & Olivier.

Super Meerblick
Das Penthouse bietet vom 11 m langen Balkon einen phantastischen Blick auf den Strand und das Meer, nur die Promenade ist zu überqueren um an den Strand zu kommen. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern, die den Sandstrand lieben. Restaurants und Cafes sind in Fußgängerentfernung über autofreie Wege zu erreichen und bieten eine Vielfalt an hervorragender portugiesischer Küche. Die Promenade lädt zum Spaziergang ein - jedoch sollte man die Hochhäuser in zweiter Reihe einfach ignorieren. In der angenehm warmen Vorsaison war Armacao ein Ort zur Erholung sowie zu freundlichem und unkomplizierten Kontakt zu den Bewohnern. Auch die Markthalle (unglaublich viel Auswahl an frischgefangenem Fisch !)und zwei Supermärkte sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Garagenplatz ist nicht sehr groß, daher sollte man besser einen kleinen Mietwagen buchen.

Home-from-home
We stayed here in January 2011 during a rather unsettled spell of weather. It was a pleasure to return to the apartment as it was so warm and comfortable. There are some books, DVDs, many channels on the TV (cable) plus an internet connection so plenty of entertainment if you fancy an evening in, on the other hand even out of season there are several bars and restaurants close by if you want to go out. The kitchen is really well-equipped and there were plenty of towels and bedding. Didn't meet the owner but he was very good to deal with and replied very promptly to e-mails. The lady who looks after the apartment (Beatriz) was also very friendly and most helpful. One day one of the air conditioning / heating units stopped working but it was fixed within the hour after I reported it.
The pictures on the site here are all quite truthful. The view from the balcony is beautiful, you can watch the fishing boats being launched then hauled back up the beach when they return. The balcony faces south and gets the sun all day, plus it has some sheltered corners where you can sit out of the wind. At night all we could hear was the waves. The apartment is on the sixth floor (there are two lifts) so there is quite a drop down to the street.
I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and we hope to return next year.

Un des plus beau panorama !
L'appartement n'est pas luxueux, mais bien équipé (sèche-cheveux, micro-ondes, aspirateur, lit pliable pour bébé avec un bon matelas, climatisation, ...).
Le gros "plus" de cet appartement est évidemment sa vue à couper le souffle, et sa situation idéale à qq m de la plage et en pleine rue piétonne : animation garantie tous les soirs, sans trop être dérangé par le bruit puisque l'appartement est en retrait au 6è étage : on entend plutôt les bruit des vagues s'il y a un peu de vent... Idéal si on est "coincé" à l'appartement avec des enfants en bas âge, pour profiter néanmoins de la vue et de l'animation des passants...

Wonderful holiday of total relaxation, a lot of b
We have a wonderful holiday full of rest, lots of beach and sun.
A nice house that makes us feel like we were in our own home, but with the particularity of "have the foot on the beach".
A wonderful view, with plenty of sunshine.
Easy access to all necessary services and trade.
We hope to return and enjoy again soon.

Fabulous view
The apartment was recommended to us by friends. The description "unique for its location and view" - is very true - we were not disappointed The layout and furnishings of the apartment is adequate - and is well equipped. There are many good cafes /restaurants within walking distance. Supermarkets, local market etc - again within easy walking distance. The Sand Sculptures (a short taxi ride from the resort) are definately worth a visit. We have stayed at the apartment twice - and would definately have a holiday there again.

Ideal location. Absolutely no faults with the apartment.Balcony woth the money alone. Air-con, t.v. iron, hairdryer, etc etc .Fully recommended. Stones throw from the beach which is handy as there is lack of facilities on the beach. Saying that the beach is always in good condition.A few minutes from restaurants which serve wonderful fresh fish.
