Martha's house is a FURNISHED APARTMENT FOR TOURIST USE ( "tourist lease" pursuant to art. 1, paragraph 2, letter c, Law 12.09.1998 No. 431).
No additional services are offered during your stay.

The apartment of ca. 150 square meters, consists of:
• entrance hall and corridor

The apartment was completely and totally refurbished recently (work completed in May 2019).
The renovation was done with care and attention, with quality materials for a purpose of personal use.
All equipment (furniture and accessories) are therefore brand new.
The care and attention that were asked in the arrangement, make the apartment ideal for longer stays.
The living room, thanks to practical and convenient sofa bed, quickly turns in second bedroom (with a closet available for extra guests).
The kitchen, spacious and bright, is ideal for cooking and eating.
The master bathroom is equipped with a large shower on the floor (size 130 x 150 cm).
The closets are ideal for storing bags, shoes, overcoats and have plenty of free space in the rooms

Roberto is a welcoming and excellent host who provides a good deal of helpful and pertinent information. Roberto’s recommendations (restaurants, attractions, etc.) and maps were amazing. This is a great apartment: 2 bedrooms, 3 baths, great eat-in kitchen, comfy living room, and WiFi. The apartment is immaculate, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and includes many amenities that made our stay extremely enjoyable. Convenient to both the historic center and the train station, in a neighborhood that has all the shops you could need as well as an excellent farmers market each Saturday. We stayed here for a month and it felt like home. We highly recommend this apartment and would return. Bologna as a destination itself, and as a hub for visiting the nearby towns, definitely exceeded expectations!

We just had an amazing time in Bologna and all of our good experiences were due to our wonderful hosts. They know Bologna and share everything they know about their city and surrounding area with their guests. Their knowledge and thoughtful gestures to make our stay memorable were appreciated. From making dinner reservations to suggesting quaint neighborhood popups, they enhanced our stay. The weather was hot but we came home to a lovely, aesthetically beautiful apartment to relax and regroup. Marta’s artistic nature- and her daughter’s - is evident in her decorating taste. This is the only place to stay when visiting Bologna.

We opened the door and were immediately struck by the bright, clean contemporary decor. Gleaming marble floors, sleek modern furniture, tasteful artwork and touches of whimsy. The bathrooms and kitchen are supplied with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts Roberto and Marta have thoughtfully anticipated guests’ requirements, from ample towels and extra bedding to coffee, tea, condiments, every type of glassware and cookware, etc. An especially thoughtful touch: Plugged-in power cords for all of our devices (iPhones, tablets) so we didn’t have to juggle our outlet converters. Plus, a drawerful of converters for backup. The apartment was super clean, as if we were the first and only tenants. Special mention to the shower in the main (one of three) bathroom. Best we have ever experienced! Rain head shower is lovely, but the separate, detachable hand shower is the star, with strong pressure providing luxurious, massaging needles of spray. The location is great. We walked all over Bologna, finding most sights, shops, services and restaurants within 10 to 15 minute walk. The Caffe Milano just outside the door has the best cappuccino in the neighborhood. Grocery store PAM is one block away. Aside from being convenient, the location feels safe. There is a bustling city life steps away, yet the apartment is quiet and restful at night. We will note that the building is undergoing exterior renovation, which was noisy in varying degrees during the day, but we were always out the door after breakfast, so that had very little impact on our enjoyment. There were three of us, and the spacious apartment provided ample privacy as well as comfortable gathering spaces. We loved Casa Marta!

Superb

A beautiful apartment...the photos are a true representation of what you encounter. It is extremely clean, very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and great bathroom. It is well located to the city centre and within easy walking distance of the station where you can travel to any number of places within 1 hour, including Florence. Bologna itself is a revelation and worthy of a decent stay. The owners, Marta and Roberto are very gracious and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

No doubt this is the best tourist apartment we have ever stayed. The owners (Roberto & Marta) are very kind. They offered us very helpful information about Bologna and main beautiful cities you can visit in a short trip on train: Ferrara, Ravenna, Parma, Modena..The apartment is perfectly located at 5 minutes from the Railway Station and the medieval city centre. The apartment is very comfortable with a lot of facilities and details. Decoration of the apartment is great!! If we came back to Bologna we will book this apartment again. No doubt!! Perfect, wonderful!

We stayed 3 nights in Bologna and we were very pleased with our choice. Marta & Robertos large apartment is so comfortable, clean and affectionately decorated. ( I wish i had this bathroom in my home…) We do not missed anything. The apartment is located very well in walking distance to the attractive places of the old town and for longer distances (or when feet hurts) you have the bus stop forward the house. Marta e Roberto were very helpful and kindly. I will recommend this flat to all Bologna fans.

Location magnifique, splendide.

Pour notre part, nous sommes ravis d'avoir séjourner dans l' appartement de Maria et Roberto. Je ne dirais qu'une seule chose pour tous les futurs vacanciers qui pourraient visiter Bologne : arrêtez vous chez Marta et Roberto et ne vous souciez de rien, car ils ont pensé à tous dans les moindres détails, pour que nous nous sentions au mieux. Nous sommes comme des "coqs en pâte" dans ce splendide appartement. De plus, Maria et Roberto sont particulièrement charmants, toujours présents pour toute demande, tous renseignements. Faites vos valises et passez les voir.

We liked it very much.Marta and Roberto are kind people, they prepared a lot of useful information, brochures, maps etc. They also welcomed us with a gift, which was a very nice gesture and surprise. In the kitchen they left some tea, coffee, sugar, salt etc., so we didnt need to buy full packages in the store for just 3-days. There was also everything we needed to clean the dishes.This was definitely one of the nicest apartments we rented. Thank you for hosting us!

We liked it very much. Marta and Roberto are kind people, they prepared a lot of useful information, brochures, maps etc. They also welcomed us with a gift, which was a very nice gesture and surprise. In the kitchen they left some tea, coffee, sugar, salt etc., so we didn't need to buy full packages in the store for just 3-days. There was also everything we needed to clean the dishes.
