We a room with a separate bathroom, which was just across the hall.
The view from the room was unexpectedly nice.
Food was great. Dinner and lunch
The man that checked us in wasn’t warm or welcoming.
The rest of the staff were nice.

We stopped her for one night on our way down to Looe, Cornwall. Room was clean & had everything we needed for the night. We ate in the garden area & the food was good ‘pub grub’. View was lovely over the little harbour.
Staff were good & the breakfast was great! Good English breakfast with everything you’d expect.
All in all had everything we needed for our nights stay 👍
No parking is available. But managed to get a space on side of road.

For a couple of nights away, it's very good value. Nice pub, good food (including a hearty breakfast) and comfortable enough room. We had a room with a sea view and a small ensuite bathroom. We had to check out 2 nights early, due to a death in the family. The staff were very accommodating, sent a message to Booking.com, and subsequently we got a reimbursement.
Parking. We had to use and pay for a public car park a short walk away. The Inn should invest in some permits for its guests to use the public car park for free - like most holiday rental owners.

On the second night the room smelt of sewage, Very unpleasant all night, given a thirty pounds refund, not much for the smelly room.that ruined our stay.

Perfect get away in heart of sea side village. Happy helpful staff, nice atmosphere with good food, breakfast was yummy. clean spacious room with lovely sea view. Will definitely return again, highly recommended.
Being an old building the floor boards were rather squeaky, did make us giggle.

great location, comfortable beds
locks on the doors were a little dodgy/broken. the carpet could do with being replaced and the surfaces hadn’t been cleaned in a while as they were quite dusty. I’d still stay there again due to the quietness/convenience though.

The view from the window of beer beach. The bed was very comfy..
The room is tried, peeling paint on the radiator which let the room down. Breakfast was slow to be serviced, took 30 minutes to get our food once ordered and there was only 4 tables in use.

Breakfast well undercooked.

About 20 beans. sausages pink inside and hash browns just about cooked.

It's good to go back to a hotel where you see the same staff, tells you it's a good place to work as well as stay. It's a comfy, cozy hotel where every room has a sea view where you can sit and watch the waves.
It would be good to have a specials board for people staying a few nights like other pub/hotels have

Staff were welcoming. Our food was very nice and a wide variety of food was on the menu. Breakfast was continental and they also had cooked food.
We had the bathroom separated so we had to leave the room in order to access it and that was the downside it
For us the bed was two small and only one set of plug sockets

Location was stunning couldn’t have been better. Size of room and bathroom. Good selection at breakfast and evening meals. Well cooked and presented. Friendly staff.
Room was in need of attention. Looked a bit tired. Only had 1 window catch that worked so window wouldn’t close properly which was very draughty. Curtains very difficult to open and close as curtain hooks didn’t glide. Radiator needed repainting as badly chipped. Free wi-fi that I couldn’t sign into for first 2 days then could only use for a few minutes before losing connection in the room or dining room. Really annoying very poor.

An excellent location overlooking the bay. Staff were very helpful and the room was lovely; the bed was very comfortable. The garden dining area across the lane was a lovely place to sit in for a meal, with superb views. The food was very good, with an extensive menu.
