Colazione ottima, con buona scelta. Letto comodo e stanza funzionale.

What is not to like. The staff, the view, the ocean and the area. And despite my experience below, I will not hesitate to visit this hotel again - BUT, next time I will definitely ask of any planned celebrations or parties before visiting and probably also avoid weekends! Without the weddings, I would have given the Hotel a 9!
In anticipation of getting the best experience possible, I had booked, what I believed was one of the best rooms in the hotel. The room had its own balcony facing the sea., but in 2 out of a 4 nights stay, the hotel catered for two weddings and what was supposed to be the best room in the hotel, actually might have ended up as the worst. Due to the weddings, the restaurant was moved from the original setting to just below the balcony of my room. All the hotel guests came to enjoy dinner, and I "enjoyed" the dinner with them - of course, this to a great extend affected the privacy. also, in addition, the weddings were very merry and loud, with music and fire works - good for the wedding, but not so good for my sleep. The later guest kept going until 4 or 5 in the morning - and to be honest, on the second day I was dead tired.

The location is great, overlooking the sea with wonderful views of the sunset in the evening. The pool area is nice with plenty of sun loungers to choose from and large umbrellas if you need to get some shade. The food in the restaurant is very good with lots of choice. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. There's a large private and free car park next to the hotel. The bed in the room was large and comfortable.
While the food at the restaurant for dinner was very good, the waiters couldn't really be bothered. They were grumpy and only came to clear away the plates and take our order after a very long time, it felt like we were an inconvenience to them. It's a shame as it meant we didn't really enjoy the dining experience, despite the very good food. Due to there being a wedding on both nights of our stay we could not stay in the pool area until the evening and we only able to eat on the patio on the ground floor, which does not have any shade from the sun until it sets later in the evening.
The room was very small (nowhere to open suitcases) and needed some attention with peeling paint and rusty windows in the bathroom as well as a stained headboard on the bed. There was no safe in the room, which was really annoying as it meant we had to take our valuables with us down to the pool area and constantly keep an eye on them, not really ideal for a hotel that is manly about relaxing in the swimming area. The AC really struggled to cool the room below 27c, although it should be noted that it was very hot outside (35c).
The breakfast was nice, but quite limited on choice to cereals, bread / cakes and some eggs & bacon etc. No fruit or salads etc. The coffee was very good.
I should end by saying that, to be fair, this is only a 3 star hotel, so expectations should be aligned to that. For the money it's reasonable.

Great character, rustic, grand Villa
Superb sea views from main terrace
Air con worked well
Bedroom very tight for space

The view of the sea was nice, especially when it was quiet. Breakfast was OK with a choice of croissants, meats and cereals.
We arrived on the day of a wedding, which would have been good to know about. It felt like the hotel was too busy to bother about its guests and we were asked to take dinner on the upper terrace next to the car park. It was incredibly noisy that night, quietening down around 4am. We thought we were offered an upgrade as a treat, which we paid for but knowing now about the wedding it felt like they were moving us around.
The food was expensive considering the portions and were expected to pay for extras.
The beach is shingle and rock so access isn’t the easiest.
The room was OK but think is in need of some freshening up, especially the bathroom. The terrace (upgrade) felt like a building site with building materials laid all around.

Beautiful location- staff are so welcoming and helpful, breakfast was glorious!
We booked this hotel specifically to have a place with a hot tub. The hot tub was ICE cold. Unfortunately this was a pretty big letdown. Also wifi only worked if I stood in the hallway outside of my room.

Incredible. The staff, the food, the view. Be sure to get there before sunset! Would stay there again and probably longer. They could accommodate summer or winter months. Perfetto! Breakfast was ample and varied. We did not use room service but noticed it was available.
Not a thing.

Everything! Stunning seafront location. Pool and spa overlooking the ocean. We had the cheapest room they have it was small but comfortable and stylish. Breakfast was good with a great range including hot dishes and fresh fruit salad. We ate at the restaurant both nights for dinner and the food, service and view were amazing. The lady on the front desk was friendly and helpful.
Nothing we loved it.

Stunning location and vista out over the sea. The outside areas were really well laid out, lovely sun terraces, interesting little nooks and lots of space. There is also a little staircase from the pool area down to the sea, all very cool. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms weren't massive but were charming & comfortable, with the all important air con! Food in the hotel was pretty good. Breakfast was decent with lots of choice and the lunch we had there was v nice. The lunch menu is more of a sit down one rather than a pool side style. There are some nice little bars & places to eat within walking distance, and its only a 13 min drive into Castiglioncello, which is a much more lively and equipped town. A special mention to Locanda Garzelli. 8 mins walk from the hotel, lovely view and michelin level food.
Due to a mistake by the cleaning staff our room was not cleaned and ready for a couple of hours after we arrived. This was swiftly remedied. Some of the outside facilities like the toilets down by the pool could do with a refresh & tidy up, also the lack of bar or drinks service (or at least one that I saw) is a bit of a miss and would have made the times lounging on the wonderful sun terrace even better.

nice , romantic villa, few meters from rocky coast, rooms are clean and spacious, daily room service, pool with salt water, dinners with seaview are top
