We had an amazing stay it was our first time accommodations, food and staff was all amazing!!!

The River and being in the mountains was beautiful. The fact that you have to travel more than an hour just to find decent food, not so good.

The breakfast which was included with our room was exceptional. The staff were replenishing all items on the buffet regularly. The staff were amazing. Always had time to talk & take pictures of us.
Absolutely nothing. We have been to Cathedral Mt several times & always declare it is our favourite place to stay in the Rockies. Just wish there were open for a longer season. Fabulous place for a romantic getaway. It was too hot in July to make use of our wood burning fireplace. We always love sitting & reading down by the Kicking Horse River. A wonderful 25th wedding anniversary 👌

Staff excellent, comfortable beds, cabins very cozy. Never tire of the river and mountain views. Did hear the train a few times during the evening, otherwise faultless stay. Definitely want to come back😀

Sound proofing between rooms could be better, also can hear the train early in the morning

Bed was very comfortable. Our cabin (#3) & main lodge were clean, bright and airy. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating. We ate dinner there two nights and the food was phenomenal and very well presented.
Our cabin (#3) was surprisingly semi-detached and very cramped inside. The cabins are in very close proximity to one another and not very private. Our cabin was located close to the lodge kitchen and we had the annoying noise of the extractor fans all day and until around 11pm in the evening. You can also here the continual hum of traffic on Hwy 1. There was limited closet space (small area in armoire) and after my husband had a bath there was no hot water left for me to shower. The little gas fireplace did not provide any heat on our last night when it turned chilly. All “glassware” in dining room and cabin was plastic which we found very surprising considering what we paid for our stay. Breakfast was VERY disappointing. We were only offered a buffet continental breakfast which was very limited and often needing replenished. There was no hot breakfast option. Parking was another problem we encountered - limited space especially when you came back later in the day. For what we paid for our 3 night stay we expected much more than what was offered, and their website is very misleading. We would not stay there again.

front desk staff and breakfast was awesome. Staff at breakfast who came from Ireland was superb.
Staff who came to fix our fireplace was very kind and efficient.
stylish decor and huge comfy bed are the highlights.
food at restaurant was not good and it was just luke warm, very not impressed with the service, not attentive and sounds like we were not quite welcome.

Nice quiet property right by the river. Cabins are nicely decorated and cozy.
20min past Lake Louise. The only restaurant around was at the hotel and was expensive so we did not end up eating there. wifi is not all that great. Did not like being handed a receipt for free breakfast to add gratuity on when wait staff only refilled water glasses.
