Second time at Victorian Hotel only means we really liked staying at the hotel when in Vancouver.
I give praises to the housekeeping staffs, they really work hard to make the hotel very clean.
Front desk personnel are very attentive as well.
Near places we wanted to visit, close to gastown and other places to visit. Little sketchy in late afternoon -block away from hotel but homeless don’t mind you.
I would stay here again, hopefully next time they will attached a lift/ elevator to the building so that people with some difficulty walking up the stairs to the third floor won’t be hard on them.
Loved the nespresso coffee machine in the room and the white bathrobes, it would also be nice to add slippers for guests to wear since we have to walk to the shared bathrooms👌
Maybe pls add some hooks inside closet to hang towels after use...something similar to the hooks inside the bathroom
By the way - had no problem with shared bathroom- it was always clean - there were 3 newly renovated modern bathrooms on same floor for guests to use anytime.

Loved the place just wish there was a private bath tub.

This is not an accessible hotel. In fact, the entire building is inaccessible - there are no elevators to get to higher floors, even the main floor has steps up to the rooms making this impossible to access for persons with wheelchairs or walkers.
Even the only entrance to the hotel is up a flight of stairs.
The hotel itself was nicely appointed even though the lobby smelled a little musty.
The rooms and barhrooms were good. The beds are very soft, the room we had was spacious and the bathroom modern and comfortable.
The hotel is completely inaccessible and there was no mention of that on the hotel nor booking description. There is also no restaurant and not much around the area.

Could have used some help with the luggage.

Hotel and rooms nicely refurbished. beds were confortable. we had our own bathroom which was clean, working but small.
staff was very helpful and friendly
Weak Wi-Fi, bright light shining in from corridor, very load from the street. as we had very warm nights, we slept with windows open and it Essverhalten loud outside, a/c available but also very loud

Quiet room with good access to sunlight.
Front office staff very helpful
Few locations close by to buy breakfast

I liked the friendliness of staff, cleanliness and comfort of our room

Location was great, staff was lovely.
Shared bathrooms - less than ideal. There weren't many, they were often occupied and not entirely clean.

The location was perfect- we could walk to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathroom lovely. The air con unit was most welcome over a hot July weekend.
It was very noisy on Saturday night, but we expected that from a city centre hotel.
4.5
It was very comfortable with bathroom and toilet just outside room. Very clean.
It would have been useful to have restaurant on site.

I didn't see a breakfast but we checked out at 5.am. flew down for a concert at Roger's. Walked to venue. Like 5 minutes. . Hotel was awesome! Clean. Secure. I would stay again and recommend!

The beauty of the building and the rooms. Walking distance to so many things, gas town, and the pacific center,
Microwave in the room would be nice

Hotel and Rooms have a lot of charm.
Good location.
Very clean.
À bit noisy, but it's OK, it is the city center.
Shared bathroom, but not really an issue.
No breakfast option.

Beautiful large room and the staff was great. within walking distance to restaurants, the waterfront, and the Canadian Line.
Sirens during the day but it was quiet at night.

We stayed at the Victorian Hotel at either end of our Vancouver holiday. On our first visit I booked a room without an ensuite. The room was very small but comfortable. The bed was the only place we could stretch out but this suited us as we had been travelling and just needed a comfortable place to sleep. The ensuites were lovely - really large and modern and kept very clean. There were also a few ensuites on each floor so there was never an issue with waiting to use one. I wouldn't hesitate to book a similar room again. We did stay at the Victorian Hotel a second time a few weeks later and stayed in a larger room with an ensuite. Both stays were enjoyable.
We really loved the beautiful Victorian era architecture. The tasteful modern interior renovation gives the hotel a really cool vibe.
Thank you to the staff who were all so friendly and helpful.

Location is excellent
I would like to be able to have food service at the hotel

This hotel is a gem, it has wonderful historical character and charm. The staff were wonderful, the size of the room was spectacular (not huge, but had wonderfully high ceilings). Bed was extremely comfortable. I've traveled quite a bit throughout Europe so wasn't fazed in the slightest by shared washrooms. Easily accessible to transit and very walkable.
Not a complaint but worth mentioning that it is within blocks of a somewhat sketchy part of downtown. I never felt unsafe but worth noting if you plan to stay here.

lovely size of rooms, very comfortable, great value, great location to access most of city on foot, lovely assistance from staff for advice, helping with bags etc
ability to store bags before check in and after check out
rooms were a little noisy - street noise permeated rooms - perhaps better curtains in the future or double glaze windows??
A lift would be nice (getting luggage upstairs) but not such a big deal!
