Elevator in our area did not work, too many natives. Drunk ones. Kids running halls late at night. 0 security. Security just sitting in his office all night.

The pool was pretty shallow but was really nice. My grandkids and I enjoyed the water slides and hot tub
Chicago joes was a bit disappointing

The hotel was very nice - as a convention centre it's spacious and laid out well. The pool was neat and good for younger kids. There was a lots of parking and the staff were very nice. We had some concerns about a few things and although it seems like there was a lot of small things, overall the experience in the hotel was good and we would probably stay there again.
The pool was a bit cold and more geared towards younger kids (the large slide was out of order when we were there so that was a disappointing; we know things happen and sometimes it's out of the control of the hotel but we switched hotels to have a better pool for the kids and then the super fun part of the pool wasn't working! But in fairness, that was a minor inconvenience). I think because it was a convention centre and had events ongoing that resulted in some folks being noisy in the hallways really late at night - 3am/4am/5am - by 5am though we couldn't be sure if those people were coming or going. The fan in the room was so close to the bed that we couldn't have it run at night as it was blowing directly on a person sleeping so it was a bit tough to regulate the temperature in the room (or to have the fan running to block out noise in the hallways). We moved a bench in the room to a different spot in the room to make a bit more space for our needs and there was a ton of dirt and debris under it (food, dirt, garbage). In the morning there was an incident outside the hotel where someone got beat up, emergency services were called by someone who witnessed the event - that was a bit concerning but I'm not sure how much that was within the hotel's control.

Room was comfortable including bed and pillows.
Microwave as well.

When my husband commented on the noise coming from the adjoining room they moved us with zero issues.
We booked 2 rooms at the same time and they were not even close to each other. We only booked this hotel because the website advertised park & fly which wasn't actually available.

Bed size and room
Cost for experience lacked, issues with the water slides due to other guests (a rowdy hockey team) and a lack of attention from staff, when staff started to monitor the water slides the solution was to no longer allow us on the slides either, the restaurant doesn’t answer their phone, when we tried for breakfast service was not very attentive and not friendly and again cost for experience lacked greatly. There is a startling lack of info on the website. The air conditioning was full blast all night making the room cold yet hardly working during the day making the room hot and there was no way to control the ac other when unplugging it. For the amount the room cost you would think I would have a little control over the room temp.

That it’s near where we need to go!
That our jacuzzi tub didn’t work and they didn’t offer anything other then switching rooms at 9 at night! as a pregnant woman I was not to thrilled…

We booked after midnight when our plane landed in Winnipeg. With all our recent flight cancellations, we were wary about booking until after our plane actually took off !! Once in Wpg, very difficult to book a room. Each attempt would say no room available, even though booking.com said they would accept after midnight bookings. Victoria Inn did, and the hotel shuttle picked us up !! Very happy with them !!

Heat didn’t work in our room. front desk check in didn’t mention anything about having to ask for house keeping, because we didn’t receive garbage clean out and fresh towels after our first night of stay
