Wir fanden die Unterkunft eher enttäuschend.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist nur wenige Meter von der Canary road entfernt.

Das Personal beim CHECK IN war unfreundlich und wenig motiviert. Wir hatten im Vorfeld um ein Zimmer mit Parkettfußboden gebeten. Beim CHECK IN hat man sich keine Mühe gegeben, uns diese Wunsch zu erfüllen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass dieses Zimmer Hundehaltern vorbehalten sind. Dann möchte man ein solche Zimmer auch nicht haben. Insgesamt ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung gut gebrauchen. Es gibt zwar ein Frühstück, aber es ist nicht besonders hochwertig.

It was short and sweet.

Very pretty. The wine and cheese was a plus. The breakfast was excellent. The decor was really nice and the staff was always smiling

Perfect stay!

Neat, very large rooms with even a gas fireplace, how cozy! The location is perfect. Breakfast is nothing special but sufficient. The staff are all equally nice, from the receptionist to the cleaning lady.

Ein schönes, authentisches kleines Hotel

Komfortable, saubere Zimmer mit einem schönen Kamin. Das Frühstück war auch besser als in vielen anderen Unterkünften. Zudem gab es auch normale Cups und nicht Pappbecher & Einwegbesteck wie in vielen anderen Unterkünften.

Charmant

Het hoofdgebouw is charmant, ontbijt was best oke. Kamers zijn ruim, goede douche. 2 wasbakken. Goed gelegen tov Cannery row, is een charmant straatje. Met uitzondering van 1 persoon aan de receptie was het onthaal en afhandeling heel fijn. Parkeren onder het gebouw, 19 dollar per nacht. Altijd zo jammer dat dit in de dure prijs niet inbegrepen is.

Alles is oud en kan een opfrissing gebruiken. Het kaas en wijnuurtje is zo om te lachen, dat trekt echt op niks.

Can’t beat the location for Cannery Row

Location was amazing. Walking distance to Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf. Breakfast was great. Many options. Much better than standard continental fare. Friendly, helpful, and responsive staff.

Bed was just OK. Walls are very thin so we could hear neighbors clearly

Lovely stay great value with character

Location, staff, and service suited our needs perfectly 😊 We enjoyed the wine and cheese gathering in the late afternoon particularly. The rooms were very charming, too.

Nice place in Monterey

Good breakfast. Nice room. Fun toiletries in eco packages. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice outdoor space.

The need to pay for parking. A kettle in the room (instead of a coffee maker) would be nice.

Charming property with calming sounds of the ocean and a peaceful outdoor patio to relax on.

The room was great and the King bed was very comfortable. The staff made us feel welcome. They even had a welcome sign with your pets name on it in the main lobby with treats and doggie litter bags. We needed mobility accommodations and the hotel provided a shower bench. They also located us on the 1st floor close to the elevator which takes you right to the parking garage. The breakfast was delicious. They say it is a continental breakfast but they offer waffles, sausage, and omelets.

The bed was high off of the ground making it difficult for someone with a mobile disability to get in bed. Luckily I had a step stool in my car my mom could use to get up on the bed.

No AC! Very disappointing and not comfortable! They suggested leaving the door open for the fresh air! Did not feel comfortable about laying naked with door and curtains open!

Great stay! Lovely staff and great breakfast, close to everything.

My daughter loved the fireplace in the room. Bed was comfy enough.

The location was great. Pretty close to Mcabbe Beach, Cannery row and the Aquarium but you will be walking alot.😫 Everything else is within a quick drive. Breakfast was just ok 👍 I prefer just regular eggs and they try too much glam.This hotel is welcoming to your fur babies and it is just awesome!

The way to get out of the hotel is hard on car and the legs. Sadly there is no pool or hot tub.

Great location for visiting Cannery Row, very friendly staff.

Great location close to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row

Room amenities need improvement: safe didn't work and had to ask concierge to fix this, twice; coffee maker didn't heat hot water for tea (room service promptly supplied a different type of coffee maker that made hot water); room temperature was really cold first night, boiling hot the second night (we finally figured out how to adjust the thermostat); asked concierge to supply a blanket (promptly delivered to our room); first morning was really busy, breakfast service a little slow; parking structure pretty cramped (drive a small car or sub compact, please); our room classed as a "Deluxe Handicap Room" (could handle a wheelchair to the bathroom but no roll in shower stall (bathtub); fireplace easy to use (select a time duration and hit the button).

It was awesome and we will be back

The staff was helpful and friendly. It is a great location to just walk to Cannery Row. This was our second time staying here and we plan on going back in Feb and May of next year.

The only thing we did not like was we had to pay to park in the underground parking garage.
