Room was up to standard for a Hampton Inn. Staff offered me a breakfast bag when I had to check out before 6 AM.

The pool, hot tub, and breakfast was nice. The pool was warm actually which is such a pleasant experience. When there was chaos in the pool with hyper kids and lack of parental caring, staff came in and did their best to get some order, like when the kids were playing with life saving equipment in the pool. Breakfast was decent but the 4 slice toaster only had one side working. I was so tempted to just buy them a new toaster after watching people trying to use the side that didn’t work. There should have been a sign near the toaster.
There is nothing close by for food or entertainment. No bar, pub, restaurant on site. No lobby lounge. There are a few hotels near by but certainly not within safe walking distance as we were told. You have to cross a very busy multiple lane industrial road. There are lights, but no crosswalk, no sidewalks, and I almost got hit trying to navigate my way across coming back from supper. Please advise guests it’s a short Uber ride to safely get somewhere for dining out or drinks etc.

The staff is very friendly. We arrived at 3 a.m., and there was no problem with the check-in. We were allowed to check out for free almost one hour later than the official checkout. The room and bathroom were clean; the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was really good and rich with everything one might want to eat for breakfast (eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, oats, cupcakes, and more, plus very good freshly squeezed orange juice). We could use a pool and jacuzzi in the morning (both were clean and empty). Free shuttle from/to the airport every half an hour is a good advantage, especially if one arrives in the middle of the night as we did.

I like that it was close to the airport and affordable rate for me. Not my 5lb dog who’s pet fee was more than half the rooms rate. 50$ pet fee.
The hotel is aged , old carpets and bathroom; but what I didn’t like the most was the unreasonable pet fee. I do a lot of travelling with my small 5 pound dog and I’ve never paid $50 for one night pet fee even at a fancy hotel.

The carpets in hallways were easy to trip over due to rips.you really need to pay attention. The Canadian flag outside needs to be replaced.

This hotel was SO dirty. The carpets in the elevator are disgusting and smell like wet dog.
We stayed on the second floor and the carpet in the hallway is all bubbled up and ripped. It also smells like dog pee in the hallway.
The rooms are old & outdated. We could hear the people upstairs all night long. And The bathroom was extremely dirty.
Beds aren’t comfy. Under the bed had so many crumbs and super dirty. Just spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

Although the room was large, it was brown and dated. The lady at check-in barely said hello and went straight to our credit card. She did however try to find our Customer Rewards account, which was helpful.

The breakfast was a little different every morning. Not the exact same thing. Enjoyed the pool. The staff were friendly for the most part. Loved that they had hot brewed coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate right in the lobby. Got a free upgrade due to an incident in the first room. Housekeeping was fantastic and friendly.
There were ants in our first room so we got moved to a second room. We took pictures but the staff stated they didn't need to see them, that they didn't want to bother at that time of night. They said because we booked with booking.com, they couldn't offer a discount/refund, but they would offer a free upgrade the following morning. To the new room we go. Sadly, the pullout couch was more comfortable than the bed and not by much. The bed sagged towards the headboard and we felt like we were on an angle. Both of us woke up sore from the lumpy and worn mattress. The toilet handle barely worked and we had to pull it out and turn it to get it working. The assist bar behind the toilet wasn't properly anchored and when I tried to use it for support (to fix the toilet) it came out of the wall. The following morning we went to the front desk after breakfast because we didn't know what was going on. The lady working the desk (didn't get her name), had no idea what we were talking about. We probably could have come to a solution sooner, if she hadn't insisted on talking over me. After checking her communication book, she said the only notes were that we wanted to move to a new room. I informed her what the night crew had said about booking.com and the free upgrade in lieu of a discount. She told me that she's been there for some time and they didn't know what they were talking about. Way to have your coworkers back! I wasn't being rude or difficult. I just wanted to know where to go. Finally, we get to the 3rd room. The tile on the wall by the sink was just propped against it, not secured. The chair in the corner of the room had a cord sticking out from the seam in the arm. We had to put a damp towel on the radiator because we woke up with nosebleeds 3 days in a row. The wallpaper was peeling. The carpet in the hallway was coming up and looked outdated. Overall, not what I expected from the name brand.
