Good enough for people who doesn’t pretend to stay at the hotel, just sleep and go out for adventure

The place was really clean

Electricity did not work properly, as soon as you turn off light, also de ac got disconnected, then there was a hide interruptor that we could use to keep ac working … but the cable was broken so it was tricky to keep it connected 😣

It was a perfectly suitable stay for a budget. Clean and comfortable which is all I needed.

Everything was clean and all I needed really. I even liked the very dated style of the place. Beds were clean and comfortable and there was an old A/C unit which did a reasonable job of cooling the room, if a little noisy.

It needed a little TLC really. Just a little bit rough around the edges in the bathroom. The fridge froze what I put in there so I had to turn it down. Not a bad thing that it cooled extremely well, a little too well I guess. I'd have liked to see a kettle in there but I used the coffee maker to boil water for my tea and thankfully it was suitably cleaned that it didn't taint the water with a coffee taste or smell.

Might look old from the outside but when you enter the rooms youll get a good surprise. Rooms are big and has complete amenities.

If these are fixed I’d stay again.

Bed was comfortable.

No blow dryer. Cable was not working and walls needed washing (could see the dust).

Good value, clean Accomodation. Attempts made to make room nice. Newer bedding and window coverings. Staff friendly and helpful.

Smelled very musty. I had to leave window open and brought in car air freshener to mask smell.

Disappointing

Owner seemed to be a hard worker and was very pleasant.

This is an old property and shows it age. Room was ok but exterior and properly needs lots of work.

Excellent Wi-Fi and fridge worked great.

Price a bit high. Floor was not level. No outlet in the bathroom. Had to unplug the light as only one plug worked on the power bar. One of the beds was not level as it was sagging. Also, the shower pressure was poor. Most of the Shaw cable channels were subscription only.

Cheap stay.

The price was what we were looking for. We needed a cheap place to stay while skiing at castle mountain. Good water pressure and hot water.

The room was small and dirty. There were hairs and dirt all over the floor. Big dust bunnies in the corners. The building is obviously older and run down, but that’s forgivable if the room is actually clean. The bathroom had black mold covering the ceiling as there was no fan in the shower room with the toilet. When you have a shower, the water pours down the walls from the steam.
