Comfortable stay in a convenient location.

We stayed in a standard queen room. Although unassuming on the outside, the room was very pleasant. It was roomy, a nice kitchen area with everything we needed for a one night stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't meet any of the staff, as entry was with codes sent a few hours before arriving. We liked the location just out of town, which made it nice and quiet. There was a big grocery store next door, which was also very convenient.

There was only a bedside table and lamp on one side of the bed.

Spacious, good shower, comfortable bed, quiet, great location, well equipped for 2, value for money

No blackout blinds and the lighting was a bit harsh - but this is just nit-picking really

A very practical option for a family visit to Lunenburg. Close to everything you need!

Great location (proximity to groceries, pharmacy, liquor store, and hardware), clean, spacious, comfortable.

Seemed a bit expensive to me, but perhaps that is just the market in Lunenburg.

Flexibility regarding cancellation policy. We were hitchhiking from Vermont to Antigonish. and were only able to make it to Liverpool, when we decided at 6 P. M. to find a motel for the night there. Upon coming to this realization I called Homeport In Lunenburg to explain the situation and was told that I would be charged the full amount of the room. Because of this rigid policy and the lack of flexibility I will never stay at Homeport and not recommend fellow travelers to stay there either.

Excellent accommodations and very good location with a Tim Hortons across the road!

The room was spacious, nice comfortable beds, lots of pillows. It had a great shower and a well stocked kitchenette. It was very clean. All in all great value for our money. We will definitely be back next year!

The TV! No cable with regular channels.

The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated.

There was no colour in the room, no pictures on the wall. Also, the electric heater in the bathroom was close to the shower and water would go near it. That did not feel safe.

Superb

The room was very big, with a fully equipped kitchen, even a hot plate. Nicely renovated bathroom, good furniture, comfortable beds

The "garden view" was actually a grassed area between 2 buildings. Could use a 2nd night stand with a lamp.

Absolutely perfect!

Property was far enough off the road up hill, there was no traffic noise. Gentleman at checkin was extremely friendly and helpful with local restaurants. Room was extremely clean (I’m a professional cleaner) so apparently I’m more picky then most. Room has clearly been recently updated, and done well. Check in and out was so easy and fast. Only thing missing was a pool according to my son who is 7. We will definitely be back next year when we want to be in the area. 9.9/10 for us.

Not fancy but clean & very convenient

Great location, close to everything you need, very clean, like the drive up access, quiet, great shower! Nice to have kitchenette & dishes for a 6 night stay

Needs bedside table on both sides of bed, lacks character, a few pictures on the walls would help give a little atmosphere, it’s a bit sterile

Comfortable bed and quiet surroundings.

No hook in the bathroom. Deadbolt stuck and was hard to unlock. TV is only streaming service

A great place to stay while visiting if all you are looking for is a clean comfortable room.

This place was not fancy but it was very clean and comfortable. All we needed, would stay again.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was lots of hot water.

The walls are not at all soundproof so noise and talking during the night was quite loud. There is a broken window frame with a gap so bugs could come in. We think the room was overpriced for just a basic older motel room but the accommodation rates in Lunenburg all seemed overpriced to us.
