We cross-country skiied and snowshoed. Our hotel location was just across the road from the little covered bridge where we could access the connecting trails to the Nordic area. However, we were disappointed at the signage on the trails. Intersections were often poorly marked or trail markers not positioned in plain view on several occasions. Even though we had a trail map, we had to constantly ask people directions because of the poor placement of signs on some trails. We are regular skiers at Sovereign Lake in Vernon, and have skiied at other Nordic facilities and the signage here was the poorest we have ever encountered. That said, we did enjoy our view out of our hotel window which was over the hot tub and we had a view of the Tbars and chair. We did use the hot tub. We did like the little coffee shop immediately next door to hotel entrance. The baked goods were delicious. Our stay was for 3 nights immediately after New Year's Eve and we were surprised to discover that several of the restaurants in the village were closed due to staffing shortages, and those that were open were already full with reservations. We ended up having to buy some food in the village food store and cook as we could not get into the restaurants on 2 of our 3 nights.

The beds were not very comfortable ... mattresses have seen better days. The rooms ,hallways etc. all look a little tired and need renovating. Rooms not very soundproof as we could hear people in nearby rooms and in the morning we could hear people heavily walking the corridors and rooms on the floor above us in their ski boots.

Room was a good size and had an interesting view to the Morrisey mountain. Ski in ski out was great.

Kitchen didn't have an oven so no way to heat a pizza. Charging $24 per day for car parking was a bit excessive.

Room was very functional. Facilities allowed us to self cater on the days/nights we weren’t hitting the nearby restaurants (all of which provided very good dining experiences).

More washing machines and dryers required in the guest laundry.

The location of Sundance lodge is excellent particularly for proximity to the ski lifts and to ski straight to the ski storage room. It’s comfortable and has everything you need

If I am being picky then I would prefer a room with one bed and a couch rather than 2 beds. Also a little more kitchen bench space would be good.

We had a lovely big room overlooking the ski area, fully equipped with a kitchenette. The hot tub was fun. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

Room with kitchen was a nice touch, especially for breakfast. Ski in/out was great.

Dogs everywhere. Barking constantly when left alone. Some dog owners did not pickup after their dogs. If you don't like dogs do not stay here as it is like staying in a KENNEL!!

We brought our own breakfast but ate out at the Grand Hotel. Food was good. Village adorable!

Access to a lounge. It was closed due to Covid. One in our party did not ski so would have appreciated another space to sit while waiting for us. We consequently had to leave the area at checkout time missing an afternoon ski
