Disappointed.

We were women up in the middle of the night by what we thought was someone breaking into our room. It turned out they had re-checked in someone else to our room who tried to enter. Initial offer of compensation was a snack for the road. Not equitable with the incident.

Best Western Plus at Best Western high standards.

Best Western Valemount Inn is just off the highway and backs onto a nature reserve via a footpath. As usual the hotel is well appointed and clean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We had drinks in the bar which also served light meals. Dinner in the restaurant was good in pleasant surroundings. The hot buffet breakfast in the morning was very good with eggs and bacon regularly replenished.

Good spot to enter Rockies

Pretty comfortable overall. Breakfast was not bad. And the staffs were very nice. The location was pretty good and quite as well.

I didn't like the bathroom. I hope they have two layers of shower curtains instead of one so prevent the water from overflowing better. Also, the drain was a bit clogged so the water didn't drain well. I think the plug didn't work well either. There were a couple of hair of the previous guests on the wall in the bathroom which was a little disgusting.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Valemount.

The breakfast was really good. Lots of variety. The location was excellent for visiting the Starratt Wildlife Sanctuary. It is right beside the hotel and was the highlight of our visit.

Nothing comes to mind.

Great overnight stay that provided all the amenities that one could wish for.

Price of the room was a bit high. However, when you considered that the breakfast was included and would likely cost $40.00 for two if eaten at a restaurant, it made it more than worth while. Breakfast has hot and plentiful, with a great deal to choose from. Staff were very friendly and service excellent. Location was great as it was just off the highway although you wouldn't know it as the room was very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Pleasant stay.

Pleasant and accommodating staff! Food was excellent.

In room tv channel selection was lacking especially during hockey playoffs. Thankfully staff in lounge were able to access a better selection of sports channels! Hotel lacked curb appeal.

Superb

Clean room. Beds comfortable. 3-4 km walk around a marsh right beside property was nice to have since property on outskirts of Valemont. Breakfast great. Friendly staff.

Hot tub could use some more regular maintenance/cleaning. Water was cloudy when we were there.

Breakfast did not have vegetarian options except dry potatoes. Hot tub water was cold the next day. People just hugged hot tub for hours. Hair dryer kept stopping to work. Expensive for such a mediocre place. They could not give me a room with Jacuzzi

Our stay was overall very good.

Breakfast was exceptional. The quality of the food was excellent and service was great.

Found the toilet in bathroom was too low. I have some health issues that make getting up difficult, so there was nothing to hang on to ( like a bar?) , so it was frustrating. Even a higher toilet would be a big help.

it was ok, but more staff and efficiencies are needed.

the bird sanctuary behind the hotel was beautiful, and the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good.

cable in main bedroom did not work, one of the bedside lamps also did not work. The soundproofing within the unit was terrible and only 3 towels provided for 4 registered guests. serious lack of organization for the morning breakfast, not nearly enough dishes for all the patrons and poor layout made for overcrowded areas.

It has several family rooms if your kids need their space. The pool was nice and warm. Loved the hot breakfast in the morning with so many options...This has been our 4th or 5th stay. Definitely quieter in October than it was in March...

The restaurant menu was slimmed down to previous stays. Not sure if it was because it was off season? Other than that nothing.

I will never book through the non-hotel booking again. We couldn’t get the last day cancelled and a refund. Very unhappy about that!!!
