We were not aware that breakfast was provided nor was anyone around when we left
The TV was not working. Stuck on Zoom and remote did not work. For the price we have a much nicer room during our last stay for less.

Staff were super helpful, when I called to confirm location, when I booked in at the busy bar, and when I locked myself out the following morning. Also give a good recommendation for breakfast
Clean room.
Second sink made it easy to fill my kettle
Hanging space for clothing taken up by fridge and microwave.
No drawer space. No desk, nor table. The only place to place my gear was on the second bed.
Laptop and phone connected to the wifi, but that did not extend to the Internet.
Some machine was creating a loud rumbling sound, until around midnight.
Best to use the front door for taking your items from the vehicle to the room.

The room was warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the deep soaker tub was delicious treat.
The staff were so great!

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. If I was in Minden again I may stay there, but not n the off season.
Seeing it's advertized as a Pub, the Pub should have been open and serving food despite the fact it was Sunday. It's the reason I chose to stay at this Hotel in the first place. I was told the Pub was closed when I got there and the reason was basically it was off season. I would think seeing it's a Pub, it would be more beneficial for them to be open and earning money than be closed. Do the residents of this town not dine out and drink when it's off season????
As side note, the TV didn't function either.

Went above and beyond. I had already spent 3 and half hours driving in terrible weather and when I got to Minden, I couldn’t risk it anymore with my two children. I booked a room and went to the hotel to find it closed, already past check in time. I called and the owner had the staff come over quickly and set a room up for us so that we had a safe place to stay and get out of the weather! The beds were the most comfortable beds I have stayed in at a hotel and the bedding was just as comfortable! Thank you for turning a nightmare into an adventure I’ll never forget. You can’t beat the small town hospitality! Very much more than what I expected for a last minute impromptu booking.

Staff was friendly and helpful for sure. Clean bathroom,
I was surprised the size of the room/bed..the walls are thin but thankfully streets are quiet

the food in the restauraunt has had a low quality and a high price, the room was old and not very comfortable, the stairs were difficult for older people with luggage. There was no breakfast

I liked the location; close to everything and right on the Main Street. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was quiet even though there was a band playing downstairs.
Only 2 accessible outlets in the room for charging your phone, and both of them were wobbly, unstable. Seemed like a safety hazard to me. They put the small tv so high up on the wall that you have to bend your neck to watch. The room was really really cold when we entered, and it took a long time to get warm after figuring out how to use the remote for the heat. There is absolutely no counter space in the bathroom so nowhere to put your stuff. And finally, perhaps worst of all, we went to the restaurant with our 7 year old grandson hoping to get dinner and we were told we could get a table as soon as some patrons paid. They made us wait in the stairwell (this was a cold November night), while people starting filing in and just going in the restaurant. About 10 minutes later the girl came out and told us “sorry, there’s actually no tables available “. Because of that I will never recommend this place.

Location was awesome.
The whole town closes at 8pm or earlier ! Very in convenient when there is only 2 restaurants within walking distance! The hotel doesn’t open til 1130am. Hours are terrible.

The Dominion Hotel was clean. Room is small but nice. We were enjoying our stay until I accidently walked in without my mask. I was focused on getting to my room since we were damp from swimming. Instead of a gentle reminder te waitress Margrete yelled across the dining room " Wear your mask, put it on." I was scolded like a child infront of everyone. I was ao embarressed I didnt even want to continue our stay. I would only go back if she was gone. There are other places with poliet staff. It is too bad.

Location
The sagging matress was too soft. Not comfortable. It felt deformed.
Not good value, price high

Owners were very pleasant! The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well, and the room was spacious and well equipped with small fridge, microwave, flat screen TVs and coffee maker.
The view from the room was horrible.

Location was good, restaurant attached to hotel but other than that wouldn’t recommend
Service was terrible. Waiting in the restaurant for over 40 minutes and just kept being told by the waitress/hotel workers (waitresses at restaurant check you in) that they were too busy at the moment and I’d have to wait to sign in.
