Host was very nice and place was super clean. Very dog friendly and all dogs well behaved.
About a mile walk to the nearest metro line and near to excellent places to eat and a good supermarket. Parking included and lots of great homey amenities

Best base to have between Montreal (metro Longueuil) and the south shore. Beautiful old house with all conveniences walking distance.
Owner is super helpful and easygoing.
Highly recommended if you need a spot on the south shore…

Unique, charming and cosy sums up this lovely house and accommodation. Louise and Frederic were great hosts and so welcoming. Loved the quaintness and decor of all the rooms and location perfect for bars, restaurants and shops. If you are looking for something a little different, then this is the spot. Would highly recommend if staying in Montreal for a few days.
Nothing to complain about. All good.

Nice little house. The two single room was cute and exactly what we needed. The bathroom is remarkably clean. We only stayed one night but everything was good.

My daughter and I came for 1 week site visit, to check out Montreal where she'll soon study. We couldn't be happier with Refuge de Poete. Louise has made us feel so welcome since day 1. Because her B&B is very popular and was almost fully booked for the entire week, I reserved 3 different rooms throughout the week in order to stay at the same place. Although we changed rooms 4 times, Louise our hostess, never made us feel like extra work. She's incredibly diligent with the room set up, her sheets & towels smell so good (we even noted the brands), it's so pretty and comfortable here. We could not have been luckier to have found this gem. Only 33 min commute to Universite Concordia. thank you, Louise for such a wonderful 1st time to Montreal.
not a single thing..everything was wonderful, really.

The cutest, homeliest, nicest little B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The lady owner and her son are so incredibly helpful and kind, the place is pristinely clean, the rooms are so cute! The beds are so comfy, the towels are incredibly soft, I’ve never gotten towels this soft in any accommodation I ever stayed. And there were even bathrobes for us to use! When I first booked it I was a little worried about the shared bathroom because I’m a very private person and I prefer to have an en suite but there was nothing to worry about at all. The bathroom was perfectly clean and tidy at all times, and it was in perfect condition. Plus our room still had its own sink. And we even had little chocolates waiting for us in our room when we arrived! This couldn’t have been more perfect.
Only that we didn’t stay long enough and didn’t order breakfast: we saw another couple have home made breakfast there and it looked and smelled so delicious. :) next time we stay we will make sure we stay for longer and we’ll opt in on that delicious breakfast as well. :)

Friendly staff. Right next to the Hôtel de Ville in Vieux-Longueuil and a traditional Marché de Noël at this time of year. Convenient parking.
The hosts live downstairs in the same house ... you enter and exit through their salon. Long walk to the university metro stop if you're going to Montreal that way.

We left early and didn't have breakfast. Host was very nice and accomodated our small dog. All went well.
Not there long enough to have a dislike

A super cute cozy stay close to Montreal, but also close to a number of bars and restaurants in Longueuil. The room had everything you would need and was comfortable.

Bad location in the middle of construction zone with parking on the street. No breakfast included in my stay.
No private bathroom, no fan in bathroom, the window in the bedroom will not open & the stairs to go to the bedrooms are to narrow.
