Excellent hotel, with extremely friendly staff. Very clean rooms.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Ed at the reception desk. Ed was extremely friendly and so accommodating. The hotel overlooked the waterfront with absolutely stunning view of the water. The hotel and rooms were very clean.

The breakfast could be updated a bit. It's in a very tight space with limited options. But what they had, was very good. We ate outside with the stunning view of the water.

The property and staff were lovely

There were a lot of children and parents there for a dance or cheer competition that were not considerate of those around them, very noisy & the rooms are not sound proofed well.

We will stay again. On a higher floor facing west.

The value was excellent. Location too. Decent complimentary breakfast too

One downside is the noise from the club that’s part of the building. We were on floor 3 facing the club and the music pumped til late in the evening.

Great staff, excellent view, and lots to do in the area.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The area was family and social-friendly. The park's view was excellent.

More clear instructions on the menu would be helpful. But it isn't a deal breaker.

Courteous staff and excellent location

The staff was really good.

We didn't get the key card as they didn't have enough, so everytime we had to go back to our room we had to ask some one from the front desk to open the room door for us which was a bit annoying. Also, there were some wedding guests who were banging their room doors at around 1230 am, which disturbed our sleep.

I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Spacious, clean room, better breakfast than expected, wonderful location

There was a smoke odour in the room, which bothered us. However, when I mentioned it while checking out, we were told that we would be given an upgrade next time.

The view and the location. Loved being near the water

I specifically picked this hotel because of the pool and breakfast. The pool wasn't open and under repair which would have been nice to know prior to arrival as it was a main point of the stay.

We made it special and that’s what counts

The location was perfect Bedding was clean and staff were very hospitable

The pool and hot tub were closed and we have found that since Covid this many hotels are continuing this trend out of laziness

Superb

Great accommodations and view of the lake and park. Friendly staff, decent continental breakfast (always extra stars if there is gluten free options, there was). Close to walk to restaurants and stores.

The room, bed and TV was nice.

Difficult to find parking on the property.

Acceptable if you can afford high rates.

Location was very good. Close to local restaurants and take out.

Mattresses were thin and hard which results in a poor nights sleep and sore backs. Hockey parents and loud little kids mixed in with other customers. Loud and noisy. Should not have to pay for parking at the hotel.

Our stay was mediocre.

Location was close to event/venue.

The fact that they were short staffed and it took us a little longer to check in because of the fact that we missed the wedding ceremony. Also I called early that week to request an early check in and was unable to reach anyone and there was not real communication. While we were in the lobby we overheard other guests complaining about the unprofessionalism of the establishment.

Staff were great! Bed was awesome! And, can’t beat the location; but, room needs repairs.

There was a broken and boarded up window, and ceiling damage.
