Very close to bus station and to Dover Castle and the white cliffs. Helpful and friendly staff.
The only thing I missed was a desk in the single room.
4.2
It was a beautiful property and extremely convenient to everything. Only a 2 minute walk to the bus station and town. The castle was also walkable from there. The beds were very comfortable and even though we faced a busy street there was no traffic noise.
Would have liked the check in to have been a bit earlier but we were able to drop our bags there.
4.2
Really clean, comfortable & very helpful Sandra welcomed me on my arrival. I had a lovely stay & a great night's sleep.

The location was perfect for access to all attractions and the train station. Facilities were clean with access to water for the kettle without trekking to the bathroom. Beds were need and super comfortable.
Only things I didn't like were things that couldn't be improved and I was expecting them.
4.2
Nice clean rooms that have been recently decorated.

comfy

The location was great. We easily walked to the castle, the St. James shopping area, the pier area, and the train station.
Sondra was great. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
It was a small room for a family of 4 and our luggage. A set of bunk beds instead of two twin beds would have freed up more space.
We did not reserve breakfast ahead of time, and were told when we got there that cash was the only way to pay for it, which we did not have enough of.

location and parking
Bed was very hard and so were the pillows, so difficult to get a good night's sleep. Noise upstairs
4.2
Not a great deal
No breakfast at the bed and breakfast or option to have anything
4.2
Very nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff.
Convenient location - 10 min walks to the cliffs and to the beach.
4.2
We stayed here as we were due to catch an early ferry to France. The guest house is close to the ferry port. There are 4-5 parking spaces which we were able to park in. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable.
4.2
Breakfast options were good and tasty. Beds were comfortable.
Shower was small. Mirror in bathroom is really high. I'm 5'2" and could only see my forehead, not even as far down as my nose. Was unable to make arrangements for early check-in which while not unexpected was still disappointing after a long overnight flight.

Sandra, the owner, was most helpful and kind. I didn’t understand that check in time was 4:30 and we arrived at 10am exhausted. Sandra did her very best to accommodate us as early as she could, and we thank her for her empathy.
4.2
It had everything you needed and it was very clean.
Climb up the stairs and for us didn't have enough ventilation.
4.2
We stayed here only for one Night before we used the Ferry to Calais. The staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Close to Restaurants (approx 10 min Walking distance). Parking in front of the House, No extra charges.
No lift, small staircase. Might bei difficult for some people or with heavy luggage. Not a Problem for us. Just a hint.
4.2
a cosy room on a good location
the bathroom doors.

location
no air conditioning, area seemed old
4.2
Very welcoming host, easy to park, rooms were very well equipped with everything we needed
4.2
Nice homely room as advertised, with plenty of space and a private bathroom.
Lovely welcome from Sandra, who knew we had got married the previous day and had got us a card, box of chocolates and a bottle of drink. Extremely friendly and efficient service throughout. Great breakfast too.
Walls were slightly thin, so could hear people in room next door briefly
4.2
It was a nice room, very clean. However, we did get badly bitten in the night by what I'm not sure.
We are a tall family and average build. The duvet was to small for two adults sharing. Only one adult could be covered enough, the other adult was only partly covered. The lady was lovely and very welcoming. Other than the duvet being to small and being bitten through the night. It was a lovely place, close to food places etc.
Just the duvet situation.
4.2
Comfortable bed, clean room and very friendly and helpful host Sandra. Good location for staying the night before catching a ferry.
Had to leave too early to sample the breakfast unfortunately.
Would definitely use again.
4.2
friendly welcome. close to everything.
a bit squashed for 4 people but good value for money.
4.2
Excellent location for early ferry, small single room but had everything I needed, own bathroom even if not ensuite Very friendly welcome from Sandra. Good parking on this occasion.
I asked for a quiet room and it was as long as the window was kept fully closed (facing road). In warm weather this isn't ideal.
4.2
The location of the guest house was very central: about 10 minutes to the high street and about 15 minutes to the start of the White Cliffs walk. Some supermarkets were about 10 minutes walk away. The room and bathroom was very clean. There was a kettle with tea and coffee sachets. There was a fan and heater.
We were not sure if breakfast was available for extra as this was not explained to us. There has been mentioned un other reviews but no information was given to us. When we arrived, we were just shown the room and told to leave the key in the door when we left. We were reminded that check-out was 10am. And that this was as they needed to prepare the room for the next guests! As mentioned by others already, the TV was small and located high on the wall The power points were also oddly postioned. One of the taps in the sink had low pressure.

This is a very nice Guest House. However we did not realise we needed to book breakfast in advance. However this played into our favour as within 5 minutes is a superb little cafe who served a cracking breafast for a silly price - Win - Win. Delightful room at the top of the house
Stairs are steep and my knees not good but not the owners problem but mine. Shower not large but worked well and i am simply lucky. Really it was fine.
