Happy with my stay at Windspire Inn. I will return.

Appreciated the customer attention from the receptionist on duty, he was very polite and answered all my questions, he even showed two rooms to choose.

Very little to complain.

It was passable seeing that the hotel industry has hicked up their prices so high.

This was an older property. The people were very lovely. Easy to find, in a great area. The bed was comfortable, clean, large. Nice and quiet.

The continental breakfast was bare, cereals, bread only. No waffle maker, eggs, muffins, bagels etc. The room was very very small, you could barely squeeze through to the far side of the bed between the bed post and the dresser. There was only a very small mirror. No fridge in the room but one was in the hallway for everyone to share

Good location that accommodates a family of 8 easily however cleanliness was not there

The location is excellent, close to Port Elgin beach and there was a BBQ with picnic area/kitchen and stove which our family enjoyed. We also liked that it was a separate house so we had our privacy.

Place was not clean, and not well maintained. It was not a comfortable stay for us but we made it work. Customer service/communication could have been better too.

Not worth the money

Breakfast was not worth staying for. The location was good..5 min walk to beach

There was no TV in the room. The room was very small. There were stains on the sheets. No soap was provided. The hallway smelled. It was not easy to find any staff around.

Overall a disappontment. Sufficient to overnight, can't recommend. Won't return

Wonderful coffee shop 5 blocks away. Beach was close and it was enjoyable to sit and watch the waves with our morning coffee

Inn was tired, room was very small, double bed needs a new mattress, shower wall joints weren't clean, no coffee maker in room and no coffee until 8:30am. Continental breakfast wasn't worth waiting for.

Cereal and bagels available for one, inconvenient hour in the morning.

Poor repairs; stale smoking smell; staff walking around in too casual clothes, or shirtless; minuscule room barely larger than the bed; staff unavailable when we wanted to check out; 24hr phone lines not answered, and one disconnected.

Luckily we were able to go to the beach on the day of our arrival. Rain out the next day.

Location was great. Room was comfortable & clean.

There was no gluten free options for breakfast aside from yogurt & bananas. This was disappointing.

Exceptional

The breakfast was fine. It was nothing elaborate. But it was tasty enough. I liked the location as it is close to the beach. I do intend to revisit one day. I will highly recommend to friends and family.

Wasn't too bad

The inn was comfortable and my husband and I particularly liked the room. The AC wasn't working as well and the alarm clock wasn't working..we had a bit of a hiccup with the tap handle which broke. Overall it was a good room.

We were a little disappointed in the breakfast which was just a collection of cereals and bread, jam and butter. There was nothing savory offered and that was a disappointment.

Superb

It's a quaint older building. Comfortable beds and polite and helpful staff. Just steps away from the main beach and main street.

The walls between rooms are very thin. You can hear the room next to you pretty well. Hope for none noisy guests.

Disappointed in lack of staff and broken TV and small room

location

No staff could be reached after 9pm. TV did not work. Old and dated, Unappetizing breakfast. Nothing other than old and beat up.

Great location near the beach.

Beds had springs sticking up and were squeaky when you moved or sat on them. Hard to get a good night sleep. Had to ask for toilet paper and towels as none available. Air conditioner did not work.

Close to the beach

Rooms were very small cramped you couldn't get out the side door without having to move the bed and they also were very damp those rooms need to have a demit dehumidifier as well as the air conditioner
