Misrepresentation ir room as a one bedroom.

Clean. Nice location

Misrepresentation in advertising. I was told it was a one bedroom with a couch area. In reality it is a studio with only one bed. My friend had to sleep on the floor. When I called to confirm I got the wrong information.

Great location

The location was perfect, just a block north of the village. The apartment was very clean and had everything you would need to cook a meal if you wanted. The bed was very comfortable, along with the pillows. The deck was a nice place to have an evening drink and gazing at the surrounding mountains. Having a door code to get in was very handy. You don't have a card or keys to lose. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance (gondolas, lifts, bike rentals, food, shopping). What more do you need.

The apartment was a bit small, so 2 people max.

Lovely space in Whistler!

Loved the little balcony and location was great. Very clean and quite spacious. (Had to pay for cost of car park). We loved our time in Whistler! Comfy bed!

There was no breakfast

The toilet seems to run constantly and the bathroom hot water is very low. Also, i had no idea about a cleaning cost. When i booked the room it was $358, final bill was $515. Not impressed.

Great location, spacious suite, comfortable beds, nice village & mountain view, functional kitchen. The unit is calm and private.

Lack of attention to details. Filthy carpet in a living room serving as a tripping hazard - just get rid of it if you can’t afford replacement. Kitchen could benefit from some cooking essentials - cooking oil, salt and pepper should not brake a bank, but are not practical to buy to prepare couple of meals. Sticker saying that knives are not dishwasher compatible - is not a user friendly solution (there are many affordable options). The same applies to the reminder to run a fan at a bathroom for 30 minutes after each use - there are fans with a built in time delay switches. Those are easy to fix.

Ok overall but would not rent here again

Easy check in, very clean and updated unit. Decent kitchen and living area layout, well equipped with all needed cooking and other items Nice common area pool and hot tub.

No hot water in bathroom tap. Overhead lights in bedroom not working, door to microwave is coming off. Biggest issue was the very poor quality of the bed, the mattress and sheets are very tired and should be replaced. Sheets were stained and of poor quality. This plus the nose transfer from hallway, as bed is close to door, means I would not recommend this unit.

Superb

Excellent stay for our 10 hour work days.

I need a better receipt to submit to my head office with BC taxes properly broken down. I e-mailed but perhaps to a no reply. Will try again. Booking.com gives much better rates during some high priced work locales/times but generally a hotel can give me a proper receipt.

location was fantastic

the room was so old , out of date, in poor repair and tiny. the fireplace only worked for 1 of the 3 nights

I’d choose it again in a heartbeat. Sadly the weather turned and I had to forfeit my second night to beat the ice storm.

it was central, near coffee shops and stores but very quiet. it was only one room but so very well laid out, with a great kitchen and comfy bed.

I liked the location.

excellent location, easy to get around

the property itself was clean and central. had a lovely view, especially during the winter. room was spacious and heating was great

when we arrived, the toilet didn’t flush properly, water doesn’t fill for the next flush, the handle for the flush is loose and the water continues after you flush. attempted to get a plumber in to fix the issue, had to go externally, then when they turned up they were told the wrong information about the issue. I had no warning when the plumber was to arrive, it just so happened they turned up at 11.30 at the same time as when we came back from our outing. otherwise we would have missed the plumber and nothing would have been done. the toilet is still not operating properly!!! the plumber couldn’t fix the issue and this will be a problem that stay in the future.

Overall enjoyed & value for money!

Had everything expected - even beyond such as utensils and cutleries & even baking equipment!

The late check in (4pm) and early check out (10am). Probably due to covid but still…

Alpenglow Lodge is one of the best!

located at the village, clean, beautiful, it’s like a home that has everything and pool and tub are both heated.

we have to pay for parking ($15)

Beautiful spot, well located

Beautiful balcony views and great sized room. Well located and walkable to everything in the village.

Check in was a bit confusing (and I've seen other reviews about that too). Just a reminder that you DON'T check in at the desk at all for this room. Everything you need is in a looooooong message in your Booking.com private messages. If the system could find a way to add details to the booking rather than them being sent in a message, that would be clearer. All good though once we figured it out. We did try to use the hot tub in the building but there were already 8 people (against COVID safety measures dictated by the hotel) sitting in there when we went down so didn't get the chance. :(

A lovely fall destination

The location was nestled beautifully in town so you are a stone's throw away from everything. It's a beautiful quaint town in fall and the scenery is just marvellous. The kitchenette although small was perfect for what was needed, with a supermarket across the road. The hot tub and pool were amazing!

Understandably the apartments can get quite stuffy due to the four seasons weather experienced. A/C unit was right by the bed and street noise can be loud but not overbearing, we conquered this by keeping the door ajar rather than windows and it stopped the echoes of the drunken wooing by the Thanksgiving party crowd.
