The property is overlooking the snow capped mountains. It’s close to the gondolas that run between the hotel (mountain village) and telluride.
The property is very dated and a not very well maintained. There are broken things everywhere. For example, floors in the pool area, the shower doors, the tubs in the rooms do not work and they are scratched. The beds are very simple and not very comfy. This is a valet parking only and you must walk from whatever building they out you in to the reception every time you want to use your vehicle as the shuttle does not take you into downtown telluride. There’s a 10 minute walk to the gondola and at night it’s very dark and hard to see the path. The restaurant has a very limited menu and closes at 9pm. Some of the staff was not very friendly. I had multiple issues with my bill. I had to talk to hotel staff 4 different times about extra charges in my bill (got charged $150 pet fee every night of my stay even though it’s $150 per the week). On the day of check out, I was given a receipt with an amount and upon my departure, my card got charged another $30 dlls. I had to call the hotel once again to ask what this charged was and they had no idea. Still awaiting a review from the hotel to rectify this charge. It’s been a hassle and I don’t think I will be back.

Lobby area was beautiful. Nice location near the grocery and gondola. Free shuttle transport to the Village.
Walls didn’t seem to have ANY insulation. When people were in the common area outside of our room it sounded like they were inside the room. This included voices, ice machine, elevator and people walking.
The place looks like it’s in process of getting an update- or needing one. The room we had was really small.
But, it was one of the few hotels I could find where you could just rent a room. Most places seemed to be apartment rental style.

The views from the restaurant and bar were very good. Reasonable walking distance to gondola and central Mountain Village.
Room was small and dark with a poor view. Furniture and bed was worn and not very clean. No thought was given to coffee maker set-up - no electrical outlet available and cord too short to reach closest outlet. Coffee provided (prepackaged pods) not compatible with coffee maker. We had to improvise.
Service wasn't very good. We went to the front desk and requested more coffee and a privacy sign for front door (missing). All they had was decaf and they said they would have everything delivered to our room. They delivered decaf coffee and never got the privacy sign.
We ordered pickup breakfast from the restaurant. Breakfast wrap ingredients completely different from menu (appeared online menu had ingredients from a different sandwich copied incorrectly). My wife is vegetarian and threw her breakfast away. We had to leave for the airport so had no time to go back to restaurant and fix.
Just some aggravating experiences. For a $400/night room I would have expected better accommodations and certainly more attention to detail.

Location wonderful..great being close to gondola for hiking.
Parking should be included in price. Stayed 3 nights and last night vehicle wasn't even put into parking garage after we turned keys into valet. First day in unit no one came in and gave us fresh towels or picked up trash. We're supposed to have daily maid service.

We liked the hotel staff and the room was comfortable.
The room was very small for two people and had a view of the street between the buildings of the hotel. And you could hear the people in the room next door. One thing that I didn't like is that you have to take two gondolas to get to the town. In the summer, this was fine, but in the winter that could be a real pain if there were lift lines.

cabin feel location room
service could have been better. I didn’t have daily housekeeping by my request however when I asked for a coffee pack and shampoo it took 2 phone calls and 30 mins later I still had to go to front desk and grab myself bc no 1 came to room

$150 per day incidentals charge or hold. It’s the highest we’ve ever had to pay. No biggy though, we’ll get it back.

The main restaurant has beautiful views. The location is great - close to the slopes and the gondola.
Our room was tiny and the walk up/down the hill to get to it wasn't ideal.

amazing location and ski in/ski out
For a 4* hotel, the bed was incredibly springy and not luxurious at all. We had to ask for a mattress pad to help with the softness of the bed, but still wasn’t great. Finally, there needs to be more staff at this hotel. I always felt that they seemed a bit short staffed and weren’t as attentive as they could have been.

Great location, you can walk right to slopes. Good transportation within mountain village.
Third time at this property but will most likely not stay again. The property is getting really dated and in need of a remodel. Shower was broken, bed not comfortable and room was impossible to get warm. Staff not really friendly or helpful. They have implemented a valet only policy, which wouldn't be a problem but they don't have any dedicated valets which results in the drive really backing up when dropping off your car and long wait times to get your car when you want to leave. For the price of this property you would expect much more.

Food was very pricey.

good location
It’s full of students and teenagers. Doesn’t mix with families (noise, daily rhythm). Outdoor spa capacity limited and always full with students and teens…

Great location. Great healthyish food options. Friendly & accommodating staff. Convenience to grocery and gondola.
Weird restaurant hours and offerings. Not being able to ski directly from unit itself and having to walk down a slippery hill. No washer/dryer in unit

location is really convenient, close to market and gondola, room was good size with lots of kitchen equipment and a fireplace. staff was friendly. the property is nice and they have lots of high end amenities and text contact. but overall it’s just not a high end property, it doesn’t have the little things that make a hotel special
bed was hard and really uncomfortable, sheets were scratchy, not enough blankets on bed, toilet / shower old and really small. hot tub on property was really small, closed a lot and when open always full of kids. coffee in room was terrible (how hard is it for a 400+ a night hotel to have a good coffee?) valet was 28 a night plus a 25 resort fee on top of a pricey room rate and valet car (that was requested night before … was delivered full of snow and covers in ice) again this should be an easy thing for such a pricey hotel to do, clean off the car…

I love the room/suite, the view is beautiful, and the location is great for skiing.
Water in the tub would not stop running and water was being wasted.

Neither the embedded heating nor the portable heater worked well on a snowy day.
No table to put stuff; old appliances; slow wifi. Total rip-off

Room was great
Customer service was terrible at the front desk Clerk was really rude. And they did not have space for my vehicle even though I called and asked ahead of time. Also my reservation got cancelled even when I called and told them I was not making it on the time I had set initially
