Room was way to small

Highly disappointed for the money I paid! The man at check in was rude and no personality. I finally get up to my room and tv was on one of the queen beds was not fixed as if someone sat on it. The bathroom had urine on floor and someone’s garbage in the can still, in addition bathroom floor towel was on floor from last person there.

Very comfortable beds with delightful staff! The hotel is small, but cozy and easy to navigate.
AC unit wasn't as strong as I would like. No microwave in the actual hotel room, making me have to go back down to the lobby to use the one in the dining area.

Breakfast was good.
They found us a new room quickly when we discovered an issue in the original room.
Our first room had a broken window causing a large air leak. The second room had a moldy mildew smell. Poor sound control. We could hear everything above us and outside.

Nothing. It’s a budget hotel, but with less amenities than any other budget hotel I’ve ever stayed.
The hotel didn’t offered to make the room, they were alleging that they have a shortage of staff. On the first night they have made me a “favor”, and made up the room, but then they warned me that it was not possible to clean the room everyday. Never ever in my whole life I’ve hade something like this. And I travel a lot for business. Also the breakfast on the first day didn’t have coffee (the coffee machine was broken).

The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice.

Breakfast was very good. It was a bit tricky finding the way in (just off the highway, but you have to get in by the back entrance). Nice shampoo!
The room was quite cramped. Had to wrangle with the bed to get the door to the Coffee maker open. Keurig coffee maker was nice but had been put away damp so it had a white powdery film on the water canister. Had to be thoroughly cleaned and several cups of water poured through.

location
Property was standard and nondescript.

Good pillows and the sheets smelled immaculate, lovely mild scent of bleach.
Noisy, due to the proximity of the interstate highway.

it was clean, had breakfast with a lot of options and was close to the highway.

Breakfast was good, area very small to get food and not enough tables and chair if there’s an onslaught of guests coming down for breakfast.
No senior citizen discount given, no added points as I booked through a third party, bookings.com not directly calling or booking through Best Western which I thought I did, TripAdvisor was $72 but Best Western wanted me to supply the app where I got it. Anyone can google it which is how I knew it. It’s a circuitous way of booking
My husband ( disabled) and I have stayed there in past as it was close to relatives in Fairfield and Bridgeport. Signage is poor and confusing especially for elderly out of towers like me visiting elderly relatives in Bridgeport. Taking wrong exit despite my ways I ended up in downtown Bridgeport. I ended up taking a 45 minute ride home on less than 5 miles ride to Best Western.
If a senior does not ask for discount, my senior moment, none is given. I wish this could be rectified or I could be given credit.
When I called I was told the cost was $127 plus tax and this included my senior discount.. I paid $160.99, no senior discount. And I also have AARP.
If one is paying $139.99 for room charge revenue, what is $12.11 occupancy tax plus $8.89 sales tax, which I accept given to the government. Why occupancy tax? One obviously will occupy room, but why the add on?
It to give you sad story but my husband settled hotel bills is past. He was a Parkinson’s Disease patient. Now that it’s just me with a fixed income, I have to be aware of the expenses I incur
Thank you for asking my opinion. You could always delete and not give me my senior discount.
Thank you

The bed was very comfortable and the location very convenient for us.
The breakfast was terrible. Very limited selection, coffee machine wasn’t working, apples were the only fruit available. In the middle of the night (2am) guests were in the hallway yelling and young children were out there crying and yelling. No consideration for the other guests. The door to the back parking lot had tape covering the latch so no security. Anyone could have walked into the hotel unnoticed through the back door. We removed the tape and door still did not latch.
