the coziest little spot close to everything in downtown blowing rock!

so close to downtown! the staff was friendly and informative (best customer service we've ever had anywhere). it was the perfect little spot with a mini kitchen and flat screen tv - cozy! we'll be staying here every time we visit blowing rock!

Great location in Blowing Rock. But get the suite to have enough room.

We enjoyed the sitting area and the little kitchenette. It was really nice to have a separate room as well as the bedroom. The proximity to all the shops and restaurants downtown was a big plus. We always had a parking space available! And we had excellent Wi-Fi, both from our unit and from the parking lot.

Comfy beds! Loved having a fridge and micro and coffee maker. Location was so convenient.

The room temp regulation was challenging to manage.

quick and easy trip! love the location and pets allowed

ease of booking with a pet. the fact that they allow pets and the downtown location. oh and hardwood floors.

we would prefer a larger room option. I’m not sure if those exist there

Lovely accommodations, in a great location

Nice spacious room. Well equipped. Located very close to all the places a person would want to go. Beautiful grounds. Dog friendly. Very helpful staff.

Room had a musty odor that you got used to quickly, but I notice it remained on my clothing after we left.

I was dissatisfied in the cleanliness and when I brought it up when checking out, the staff did not seem interested.

It was close to downtown.

The bathroom had not been cleaned. There was dirty hair on the shower walls.

We tried to be good camp counselors but failed

2nd night there was a power outage in one section of the facility beginning around 7:00 pm Saturday night. We were initially told it would be restored around 9:00p. A truck had already arrived working on the transformer. 9:00 passed and was determined that a new transformer was needed 2 counties away. 2 more hours were added to the projection. tensions grew among the residents with no official hotel manager presence until 11:45. My wife and I tried to be a calming camp counselor influence. Eventually the “squeaky well AGGRESSORs got transplanted to a sister community. We remained trying to be positive. But a “couple” arrived next door with two dogs. They were agitated from the start. They leave the dogs in the room with no AC and leave around 8:45 to go eat promising to return quickly. They returned at near midnight, intoxicated and aggressive. After we tried to talk everyone back into their rooms and just go to sleep, they proceeded to argue until 12:50am. We finally fell asleep around 1:15. the power turned on at 2:00am we finally fell asleep with the AC on. While the power outage was not the fault of the hotel, the onsite response from management was two hrs overdue as tensions had escalated. at times i was concerned for our safety on our 39th anniversary trying to be good sports and bring calm. the others got what they wanted.

probably not my first choice

it is in blowing rock

a/c did not cool sufficiently and was noisy. the hike up the hill was daunting. our first room had an a/c that was broken, if we had checked in late we would have been severely inconvenienced. Upon check in , i asked desk clerk to give us a room farthest the from street, out first room was exactly the nearest to street.

The Davidson Suite fronts a quiet street and has its own driveway.

Excellent location. Away from the Main Street crowds but only two blocks away for easy walking access.

Advertises as pet friendly but charges an extra $25 per pet per night I understand charging a cleaning fee but felt this to be excessive.
