The room was very spacious and clean no smell. Beds were very comfortable not noisy after 10pm

The hotel is great for it's value. The share bathroom was clean. The room was clean and comfortable.

Got there and no TV the room carpet was filthy bed was small for 2. Just not a good experience at all. Would not recommend them to anybody. Ran a figure alone the window ceil and it left a mark. Fingers print on the wall.

It was an old hotel where public areas have not been updated in ages so very fun to see. The room on the other hand has been updated- extremely clean and a most comfortable bed. So yes I would stay there again even with stairs to the second floor.

It was economical and did have features that made it better. Didn't charge $10.00 for the cot, wifi, and cable, card lock doors to the suite, and for the suite. Portable AC, a little too noisy but great. Shaw cable TV, which I do not watch TV.

The carpets were disgusting, and the place smelled like rotting fish. When we got back from Jasper the first night, they did spray the hallway with a deodorant, but that stunk. My daughter refused to sleep in the bed, because when I pulled the covers down, there was a huge hair in the bed.. also, when we got back from Jasper the first night; there was a bar located there. A drunk guy was relieving himself out on the parking lot exposing himself. It is absolutely inappropriate for my 12 year old daughter. I tried calling several times; hours prior, on Saturday, May 20th, to contact the Hotel to let them know that we would be arriving a couple hours early but the message machine kept looping and repeating itself. When we got there, I explained the situation to the man at the counter; Raymond, and he just looked at the phone and never explained to me why he never answered it. Raymond couldn't find my check-in form and then wanted to charge me extra for the cot. The owner emailed me and explained that the cot was free of charge. Luckily, I had the email he sent me to confirm it was free. Thank you for that owner. All electrical receptacles were occupied and had to disconnect the microwave so I could charge our phones and disconnect the coffee maker so I had enough room to plug in the charge because there wasn't enough room and disconnect the bedside light so I could plug in my laptop at night. I feel the owner is trying to make an effort, but I would not return to the hotel due to these issues.
