very very clean. awesome staff. breakfast was delicious. was 15 min to NOTL and 20-25 min to Niagara. if you plan on being only in NOTL then it could be a lot of driving back and first but the location for vineyards is wonderful. was quiet area . very accommodating staff . super comfortable beds and pillows. would stay again. Oh. we were given an upgrade too đ
was a little warm in the room. AC has only an auto set but our settings still seemed like it was not as cool as the settings. need a fan in the room⌠also itâs nice to have a fan to cover any outside noise. And/Or a noise maker. A little more lighting in the parking area. I came in alone -as a female- after midnight one evening and would have appreciated some light in the parking area⌠itâs completely dark. But these are not deal breakers for this lovely remodeled property.

Attic room lovely for family, with river views from balcony. Fully functioning kitchen. Good quality food and sundries (soaps, coffee pods, etc). Location beautiful in picturesque village, river brief walk from hotel. Perfect to be away from Niagara crowds, but just 20 mins from falls . Trees and wildlife everywhere.
Nothing.

amazing place to stay. The historic two bedroom suite was so luxurious and fully equipped with a full kitchen, lounge and beautifully comfortable bedrooms. the breakfast was outstanding and there was free coffee and brownies/granola bars around the clock. Plenty of great space near by to walk to bicycle. would recommend x 1000.

What an exquisite gem! A fully renovated historic building with a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional, tasteful accents. We were a group of 8 friends staying a night for the Niagara Icewine Festival. Booked the large 6-person suite (huge) and another 2-person bedroom. Only one other room was occupied this weekend so very quiet. Everything was top notch. Breakfast so made by a local pastry chef! Hosts were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the building. Definitely a repeat stay is in order. Maybe the summer wine festival. Superb.
Tip: Lots of parking. Rooms are spacious but no cots for additional persons. All dual beds (best for couples).
Actually it was all perfect, really.

Most amazing property! Staff were exceptional and accommodations were exceptional! We were a group of 3 friends enjoyed catching up in the commons room with our wine and charcuterie that the hotel put together fir us. In addition to that, we all had an amazing nightâs sleep on the very comfortable beds. the rooms are very modern and very welcoming with gorgeous views.
thereâs absolutely nothing I didnât like.

Everything about our stay was wonderful.
To start with the host took us around the property. We learned about the large, comfortable and well-equipped common area.
The property has many beautiful antiques and a vast collection of books. The host was very hospitable.
My family from out of province enjoyed our stay very much. My sisters enjoyed playing games in the common room while I read a bit of a wonderful novel. I hadnât seen my sisters for 3 years. South Landing Inn made our reunion exceptional!
The suite was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. We appreciated that it included 2 full bathrooms.
The breakfast set us off to an excellent, relaxed start to the next day. The tables were spaced so that we were well away from the other guests. The food included vegetarian and other choices. The choices included yoghurts, pastries, quiche, and juices. The pastries were outstanding.
The location was quiet. It is just 10 km from from Niagara on the Lake.

Nice old house
We enjoyed staying there
8.0 / 10.0
We loved the location, comfort and style of the rooms. Breakfast quality was good but felt it could have been monitored more regularly as items ran out and frequently asking for replacements was embarrassing. Perhaps try to over provide rather than let items run out.
Wi-Fi was poor. Some members of staff were less engaged than others, almost to the point of being disinterested. A little on the expensive side in terms of value for money.

beautiful comfortable spacious friendly

Great location, easy to use free parking, friendly service, comfortable bed, good breakfast (especially the home baked bread).
It is an old building. Some renovations have been done, but there is more work to do. One can hear every step of somebody walking in the room above (third floor). A better insulated floor or at least a carpet would help reduce the noise (which woke us up at night time). Although there is a larger fridge in the common kitchen area, a small room fridge would be better. For breakfast, one or two more tables would be nice. The backyard is nice. Why not put e.g. a picnic table there? In order to be able to eat in the room, an actual table would be desirable to have.
9.0 / 10.0
The room was spacious, clean, large windows with a pleasant view.
Being an old building, the early risers above us could be heard walking (or stomping) across the floor constantly at a very early hour, making a sleep in impossible.

everything was just great - huge rooms and beds, very clean and comfortable, lovely areas to relax in staff extremely kind and helpful
