Nice, relaxing, comfortable

the location, parking, full kitchen, comfortable bed, toiletries in bathroom, the details in the kitchen (ice, coffee, sugar, creamer, etc)

the bathroom floors need a little more cleaning, some dirt accumulated in the corners and some hair on the floor

and will never goThey said that if you got there early they'd give you a chair for a beach we talked to a housekeeper the office was never open in our stay then they promised you a continental breakfast we never even saw anyone before we left we just left the key in the room

A Unique Getaway

Ocean Inn is a quirky, unique reminder of pre-condo Florida. The floors are terrazzo, the decor is dated, and I've seen several reviewers complain that the place badly needs an update. So if you're looking for a modern, immaculate big box chain hotel, don't go to Ocean Inn. We were greeted by Philip, who was friendly and accommodating. Water was shower hot, linen was clean, bed was comfortable, and a microwave, room-sized refrigerator-freezer, and pots, pans, and dishes enabled meal preparation onsite. The outside garden was lovely and relaxing, and proximity to the beach can't be beat. My only major complaint was the smell of mold in the room. In all fairness, however, I am a local here and almost every old building on Hollywood Beach has a mold problem, so bring your allergy meds.

The mold issue.(see above) is problematic for me, but I am very allergic. Also, this is a problem we did not ourselves encounter, but arriving after hours is a big issue, as people have not been able to have access to their rooms because no one answers the phone after 5 PM. (My son-in-law did experience this). Also, there is a $10/day parking fee that isn't disclosed at the time of booking.

beautiful relaxing spaces. the staff was so friendly and helpful. the location was a very short block from the ocean. we were at the end of the boardwalk which was nice when we wanted a little more quiet

Where do I start. If you want drugs Rm 19 is where to find them. Don’t stay in Rm18 bcuz you will not be able to sleep with all the banging of room 19. The manager makes empty promises and does not follow up with any complaints. Continental breakfast offered online does not exist. Manager stated “room would be COVID diffused”, that didn’t happen, unless bleaching the counter tops count. Walls are paper thin, hotel is very outdated.

We left after the roach crossed the ceiling. Rather forfeit the cost of the hotel than stay there

The location was nice

Staff who do not answer the phone. A check in desk that has no one there. A deceptive description of the Hotel. This is an old hotel/apartment building with full time tenants. The room you get is a tiny, with a noisy air conditioner and a bathroom which has had no remodeling and very little maintenance since the 1950's. Avoid this Hotel it is not "quaint" or charming it is a shabby old building

Everything was Perfect. I was there with my girlfriend. She felt very comfortable. It's a clean, nice and romantic place to stay near to the beach. Definitely, I will come back to Ocean Inn. Well done guys!!

This was the worst!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. I left after one night instead of the two nights booked. I would rather die than stay here again! Awful in every way!
