A beautiful couple of nights to begin our travels - perfect location for visiting our exchange student son at UNH, before heading up state. A lovely old property full of character and friendly staff.
Everything was great - nothing to add here

The staff (a young man and young woman) working the night of the 20th was very, very helpful and accommodating. My wife and I arrived around 8:30 pm, which was only 30 minutes before closing, but they took our dinner order, and even delivered the food to our room!! They showed us around the inn, and gave us a history lesson about the building (which was greatly appreciated), and they were both just wonderfully friendly. I can't remember ever getting any better service anywhere, ever. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment.

We've stayed at 3 Chimneys a couple of times over the years. We LOVED it. This time, there was nothing special at all other than the location - which is almost magical.
The breakfast was something you might expect at a second-rate motel. (But, that's being unfair to second-rate motels.) Nothing hot, except the water for cocoa. Fruit? An apple wrapped in plastic wrap.

cute inn - beautiful decor and lovely staff
the restaurant was quirky, food delicious and waiters great!
Room was in the Inn itself and too noisy due to a boiler behind a panel in the room and late arriving guests
Breakfast was a DIY affair - cook yourself and all in packets.

Location
Pet friendly rooms too dark, breakfast was the bare minimum and not acceptable for the price of the room, staff was hard to find, no lounge area or reception area available

We stopped half way on a camping trip. I’m was great, food was very good and everyone was super friendly. Really enjoyed our short stay.
Continental breakfast wasn’t the best but it’s still a Covid-situation so it’s acceptable. In the future I would hope this is back to what I assume was on par with everything else.

almost everything beautiful place.
no microwave. restaurant and room service only available Wednesday through Saturday at night only.

Lovely room! Lovely breakfast. We really enjoyed the room and the grounds.

Very quaint and rustic. Well maintained. Friendly staff
The bad wasn’t the most comfortable. Wished there was a regular continental breakfast in the morning instead of a bag on your door. For the price to stay, it would be a much better touch.

I was only there one night. It was clean and comfortable.

It’s a great location near UNH. Make sure to make time for dinner in The Tavern.
The rug in the room should be replaced.

has a lot of character. Restaurant and bar at inn. over the years have stayed in several rooms in the carriage house. All unique, historic feel, but modern amenities.

It was very cozy and comfortable.

Continental Breakfast items were delivered to our door at 8am, which was a nice touch during Covid.
Wished there was access to coffee in the main lobby or something, instead of the keurig machine in the room. But we understand the reasons behind it.

Convenience
Breakfast was poor

Grounds and room were lovely.
We were in a room off the terrace and a musician was performing live about 8 inches from our room's door. We could hear everything from the diners and music as well as from the room next door. The bed was the hardest, most uncomfortable bed we have ever stayed in and we were not well rested at all. Very overpriced

Staff were outstanding! Excellent accommodations!
Beautiful surroundings and well-kept grounds!

Available for bring pet. The room was very nice. Love furniture. They even brought supper to the room after order take out from restaurant.
Not all the jet work on the jacuzzi tub.

Loved the authenticity of the buildings…not too many around from that time period (1650’s).
The grounds were lovely and lush.
We were put into a handicap accessible room. We were not told this when we booked.
There were no rugs on the floor, and the shower head was a handheld, mounted to the wall at chest height.
The sink was very low and almost completely stopped up…taking 3-4 minutes to drain after running the water for less than thirty seconds.
Brushing teeth and washing hands and faces became such a disgusting process that we had to use the shower for both.
We would have asked them to fix it, but we discovered it late at night, after checking in and having a late dinner…after a 9 hour drive.. We just wanted to go to bed because we had to leave early the next morning.
Not a very relaxing or comfortable stay.
When we checked out, we told the young lady at the desk about the sink so it could be repaired for the next guest. She gave us not the slightest smile of empathy or a word of apology…just said she would tell the housekeeper.
At that point, I said the housekeeper should have already reported it. There is no way someone could clean that sink and not notice it wasn’t draining. I left wondering if the sink had been cleaned before we arrived!
Overall, a much anticipated stay was quite unpleasant.
BTW: We are well seasoned travelers and are not usually ones to complain. We understand that things won’t always be perfect…but a clogged sink on arrival was SO unwelcoming.

The history of the property made it charming. Soaking tub was great and relaxing.
Looking forward to visiting when the breakfast isn’t a continental breakfast dropped off at the door.
4.5
It’s charming and it has a load of character
We could have used a microwave
