Needs major improvement!

Convenient enough to Downtown and other attractions but not at that price point. The staff was very good.

The hotel is promoted as upscale, with an enhanced on line image that doesn’t quite align with the in-person experience.

Pleasant

The location was good. Beach was across the street and enough places to eat, including a brewery within walking distance. Walking another 2 miles will put you on the cliff walk and an additional 2 more miles you'll find yourself in downtown Newport.

The room was comfortable and included a jacuzzi. The bathroom was small, and its configuration didn't help. The towel rack fell off the wall, and plastic cups were not provided. One-half of the security latch was missing, so any employee with a key can enter if you're in the room. The indoor pool is slightly larger than a bathtub. There is a bar conveniently located in the lobby. However, it's not open or used at all. I was told I got a great deal on the room, 700/night?? I stayed in the historic building, which definitely showed its history :(

The hotel room and view even though I paid 768 for 1 night it was worth it

When I got there I went to the front desk the lady there was amazing. I gave her my credit card she checked me in, my bank sent me a notification that 768 dollars was taking out of my account from newport Beach hotel. Then I checked out the next day and I didn't owe a balance so I went home. As am driving I get a call from the manager saying I didn't pay for my hotel room, so I called my bank with him on 3 way and my bank told him that they already charged me. He got so upset and started to yell and just hung up on me. I sent him my bank statement on his email and he still gave me an attitude and was very unprofessional

Right across from the beach. Perfect if that is what you will do all day.

Paid for view room, not worth it. No Outdoor lounge area. Can’t even get a cup of coffee in Lobby area. Nothing around besides a couple restaurants.

Room was fine once we got into it.

We were there for a 4:00 wedding. Could not get into our room until 4;00 :-( had to change in another guest's room. They were part of the wedding so they had checked in on Thursday. 2 mirrors in the room. one over sink in bath room. full length behind door in bedroom with awful lighting. NO place to put a makeup mirror! Only flat surface had a TV on it! Shower had big window with frosted glass !!! Did not like that at all . Not women friendly.

Wonderful get-a-way

Spacious room, very clean and in a great location, with Easton beach right across the street and Second beach right up the street. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Very nice!

View from the room (ocean). Close walk to the beach. Close drive into town/ close walk to cliff walk.

Would have liked a room clean up each day and a refresh of towels.

Upon entering the room I found popcorn on the floor and a water bottle cap on the floor. They were busy and short staffed so not a big deal to me but other people might have been bothered. Besides that everything was amazing

What a bummer

The beach

Newport Beach Hotel & Spa, I stay in the new building for 11days every June. I wanted to give my niece a night to enjoy her 25th Birthday on January 24, 2021 I made all the arrangement with Alan "my regular guy" I am shocked! The photos my neice sent me where nothing like my favorite Newport Beach Hotel.
