I would definitely stay here again on a return visit

Good location and we had a blast at the pool bar with the band playing at night. The food poolside was good too. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Parking was a pain, hard to find a spot. Way better if they had assigned spots for the guest who have a car.

A Fuir ! hors de prix, bruyant, vue sur un chantier !

Le lit est confortable. Les photos de l’interieur des chambres sont conformes

J’ai choisi la chambre avec vue sur la baie… j’ai d’ailleurs payé 240€/nuit pour cela ! Et j’ai eu la vue sur maisons en construction et des bennes a detritus ( cf photo). Je vous passe le bruit des marteaux piqueurs a 9h du matin juste sous ma chambre ! Quand je me suis plainte aupres de la reception on m’a d’abord dit que cela était indiqué… hors c’est faux… nulle part sur booking c’est indiqué qu’il y a des travaux sinon je n’aurai jamais pris cet hotel et encore moins a ce prix!!! Apres ils ont voulu me mettre dans une chambre moins bien et sans vue au même prix! Aucun remboursement possible pour le prejudice sauf un bon pour leur restaurant… que j’ai refusé car la qualité du petit dejeuner étant très mediocre, j’imagine la qualité des plats du même niveau’!! les fauteuils de piscine ne sont pas propres. Le wifi fonctionne extrêmement mal! Hotel tres excentré! Cet hotel est une honte compte tenu des prix qu’il pratique et la qualité de service fournie…. A fuir!

Ottimo

La struttura è molto pulita e ha una vista incantevole sulla marina. Si può giocare a tennis, beach volley, paddle, nei campi dell’hotel. Ci è anche stato offerto un bicchiere di champagne all’arrivo.

Se dobbiamo trovare una nota negativa, diremmo che la palestra dovrebbe essere ristrutturata. I pochi attrezzi che c’erano era quasi tutti rotti..

Affordable, family friendly vacation spot

The staff was fabulous. They were always very pleasant and accommodating. The pool area was well done. We loved the daily room refresh by housekeeping staff. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment. The complimentary beach towels, chairs and umbrella were very much appreciated. We had one very delicious meal at the Blu Sushi restaurant.

The facilities looked a little shabby. Our room was quite large but the furniture almost looks second hand. There is a lot of construction going on and there seem to be people living there year round While this was advertised as a smoke free facility, there were people next to our room smoking on their balcony and there were people smoking on the pool deck. The photos on the website are very misleading. There is a balcony but it is not overlooking the water; it overlooks the parking lot. Overall we had a very nice stay. If Skipjack continues to invest in the property, this review would probably change for the better.

Not good for family as sofabed are old and uncomfortable.

Sofabed old, noisy and un comfortable. The room was not made up for 4 people as per our reservation. Also, room not so clean.

good for drive through

- this is a hotel in a marina, looks really trashed from outside, but the rooms are quite ok - the grills, pool and other ammenties - close to publix/winn dixies and marathon center

- the bar and restaurant on the pool was closed - the staff was quick but not really that helpful when it comes to things outside the hotel - could clean up their property as everywhere is some trash and stuff laying arround

I was not upset, or unhappy with my stay, I just wasn't wowed by it

Restaurant, bar and pool were very nice, the room was clean and overall pleasant

Facility is old, they are doing renovation so that is nice to see, our room had a view of construction site, and construction noise which was expected when seeing the work being done, still not what you want while on vacation and drove 13 hours

Overall enjoyable, I still wish I could have eaten more bacon.

Room size and pool was awesome

What’s up with the bacon deal? I felt like I had to plead my case to get 2pc of bacon everyday. . I can see not wanting people to overeat where applicable but cmon, $1000.00 for a 4 night stay and we can’t have more then 2 pc of bacon for breakfast? That is a little ridiculous.

Room was nice. Breakfast was good. Facility was run down and view from room was of the parking lot.

Website indicated facility was on/near water. It was not. Pool area and room nice but other parts of"resort" are run down.

nuthin fancy on the outside but a real decent place to stay.

the rooms were nice a large with a great kitchenette. the breakfast this morning was great for being called “continental”. Bacon, eggs, and other hot items.

the bed was VERY hard. almost uncomfortable. couch was much more comfortable honestly. wish there was more family type stuff to do right here at the resort as we have young ones.

Great location for our first trip to Florida Keys

room was clean, comfortable and spacious. staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly our super waitress in the restaurant. Pool was great with lots of sun loungers. Breakfast was great too.

more space in the restaurant would have been good as it was popular and not very big. lots of seating outside but it was very humid so we preferred to be indoors.

Several days in paradise.

Two room suite with partial kitchenette. All the furniture was comfortable. Clean and regular housekeeping. Swimming pool was close and met our needs. Location in the Keys was perfect for us. On site sushi bar was very good

Nice weekend getaway

room was spacious and clean ac was cold and shower was large and water pressure perfect. they provided us with Tommy Bahama beach chairs to take to the beach with us that was a nice touch. we honestly didn’t spend to much time on property but while there it was nice.

the only thing I think they should work on is the breakfast. you get a card where you check mark what you want to eat and they cook it for you basically it’s a very thin pancake a scoop of egg and 1 piece of bacon they also have other things like cereal and fruits .. it’s a wonderful concept but might work out better to do Buffett style

Quaint cozy beach size hotel with a very welcoming vibe.

We arrived to SkipJack after a long day of being stuck in traffic. The lobby was bright and welcoming, with spa water at the door and a lovely smell permeating the room. The Rooms were clean and spacious (appeared to be recently remodeled.) We really enjoyed having a living space and kitchen along with our room. The balcony is a nice touch. Staff at the bar and restaurant were very kind and helpful to us wearing travelers. The Location of this hotel is a great- a perfect central point to explore the keys. Over all we found this to be a perfect fit for our travels and would gladly stay here again.

The staff was a little distracted upon arrival and took some time to acknowledge we were waiting. However, once we spoke to them they were very sweet and helpful- they continued to be very sweet and eager to help anytime we reached out with questions the rest of our stay. WE also had issues with the wifi in our room and somewhat gave up and used our data. The property looks like it is mid-remodel so there is some construction around and some parts (such as the gym) look more outdated than others. Can only imagine how great it will look once finished based on the parts we stayed in.

Very relaxed and welcoming resort.

Breakfast was rather disappointing veering in mind the overall rating. Just a bit chaotic until you learn how it works. Staff were great. Sushi bar very good . pool and pool furniture very good.

Felt like a refurbished hotel. The shower water pressure was awful. Not the most comfortable experience, but I suppose this is “value” is the very overpriced keys!

Not worth the money

The swimming pool area was nice.

It is more a kind of motel. The overall cleanliness was bad. There were cockroaches in our room. The toilet didn't flush. The sofabed was terrible. The walls were thin, so we could hear our neighbour the entire night. We booked for 2 nights but left after 1. Do not go here!
