The bed was cozy and i loved the breakfast and pool area.
The old furniture and not as modern as I thought. Also, my room didn't have a bathtub

Parking.
The hotel is outdated. The rooms are extremely small for the price. The pool appeared to be clean and the weather was perfect outside but the pool was “closed” during available hrs. The room keys did not work for the full stay. I had to keep going to the front desk so that they can reregister multiple times.

I liked the fact that we were close to the elevator and only had to walk out the back door to go to the pool area. I really enjoyed the kids pool with my grand baby. The water was right and they had plenty of seating by the pool. The breakfast was very nice and the staff on the following day was very courteous and helpful. I did like the lotion and soap offered in the bathroom. They seemed of decent quality.
Upon arrival, the staff member continually told me i did not have a reservation. She was very rude, initially until we realized that they put the reservation in my maiden name. Once we worked around this, the questions i asked were met with snarky replies and an unprofessional tone. Once i got to my room to check in, i realized there were two different beds in the room. Meaning one was on a platform and the other was on a regular metal bedframe. This proved very uncomfortable for sleeping. For it to be a hilton, i was very disappointed in the bed. It was like sleeping on plywood. Im a local and My whole reasoning for visiting was for the pool and jacuzzi. I didn't like the fact that the jacuzzi did not work. The big pool was very warm. Almost as if it was being heated. This was not a bad idea in the evening, but in the day it seems counterproductive. The trashcan was overflowing with garbage and had not been changed even as I was leaving Sunday morning. I literally left from the pool and got in my car and the trash can was the same trash from the previous night. I feel like for the amount of money I paid for this room, it should have been better maintained and presented to me.

Location of hotel and room were great; breakfast options and the common areas were great as well. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Online stated that pets were accepted, then we had to pay an addt'l $75 for one small dog. The bathroom was dirty and had mold issues. The hotel staff at check out compensated us fairly for the inconveniences.

beds are very comfortable- overall facilities is very clean.
The bad rating was for the fact I made a reservation for Tuesday May 9th. knowing we wouldn’t be there until Wednesday around 8:00 & would need some sleep. Upon arrival the front desk said my reservation was canceled that was after numerous calls confirming I would have a room when I got there we could go to sleep. I am requesting a full refund
Thank you in advance for your help

The attitude from the front desk clerk after driving 13 hours & my reservation was cancelled & she did nothing about it

The location was convenient.
Overall building had not been updated. First room had clogged sink which ultimately made us move to another floor. It was raining and they had buckets down the hall catching water.

Very nice staff.. clean comfortable room. Delicious breakfast ! Very convenient to every where in Baton Rouge.
There were a few detail cleaning items in the bathroom that I would point out. Being very picky, mold under the corner seat in shower (only seen if sitting on toliet 🙈) also there was dust build up on toilet paper dispenser. That's the only reason I did not give it a higher rating.

It was right next to the highway but wasn't noisy at all. The a/c was set on 70 when we arrived and normally the hotels don't have the a/c on at all so that was a huge plus.
The bathroom could use an upgrade and deep clean..there was dust every where in the room. You could see on the desk where housekeeping just sprayed cleaner and left it. A group of men was cleaning the outside of the building and sprayed bleach on the truck of a guy in our group.

The lady that checked us in was very helpful.
That the fire alarm woke everyone up around 11:45 and another issue with the refrigerator that leaked water when opening the door. Last but not least the pillows are the worst ever.

The staff members were very polite and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean as was the rest of the facility.

It was close to stores and resturants.
The staff wasn’t very friendly.
