The room was adequate. For the suite aspect, I would have expected an additional sitting room, an area for watching TV with the bed not in the same room if there were a need for this condition, and for the price it should have had more accommodations. The rate was jacked up due to graduation weekend. When I was first looking at it to book it it was $450+ a night. The price doubled as soon as the graduation dates were released. It felt more like a business motel experience but it has it's conveniences.
The staff acted quickly to address issues. That is not an issue. The staff is amazing. If I am renting a room called a suite I want it to have those features. The location was convenient to all I needed. Having been there for only one night I really cannot provide information on all of the aspects requiring a description.

Everything went very well. The Breakfast Buffet Was Exceptional!
Nothing I can think of.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is excellent, being conveniently close to both MIT and Boston University, making it ideal for visiting students or attending events at these institutions.
One of the standout aspects of my stay was the super courtesy of the personnel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request or provide helpful information about the local area. Their warm and professional demeanor truly made me feel welcome.
The overall atmosphere in the hotel was vibrant and positive, contributing to a pleasant stay. The public areas were clean and well-maintained, and the decor was modern and inviting. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, offering all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.
The good vibes throughout the hotel made it a memorable experience. Whether enjoying a meal at the on-site restaurant or simply relaxing in the lobby, the pleasant ambiance was evident. The Hyatt Regency Cambridge successfully combines a great location, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a top choice for anyone visiting the area.
On the other hand, the hotel could benefit from some updates. The structure itself is showing signs of age, and certain areas could use renovation. The infrastructure, including the elevators and plumbing, seemed a bit outdated and in need of improvement. These updates would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

Decent size rooms.
Location. Old facility.

Safe area
Price and despite feeling safe it was a little farther away from the places where I wanted to visit.

Very quiet and clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent and friendly staff at bar. Great food and drinks!
The parking garage was a little tough if you have lots of luggage but the Valet is accommodating if you want to drop off bags before you park.

The building even if probably not so new is interesting with four elevators visible from the internal open space. The room was with view at Charles river, beautiful. The parking is very good, large, self parking. A cafeteria în a Starbucks style is available în the hotel which is useful for a coffee or eating fast.
Nothing to mention

The staff, was not comfortable, the view was of a trashy parking lot, the rooms are small.

Great customer service. Clean.
Room smelled like food upon entering.
Charges for parking garage for guest. (If no charge maybe a discount?)

Every staff member was pleasant, patient, and very helpful. No one seemed annoyed by questions or appeared rushed even though they were very busy.
No comment on this.

Cleanliness. Nice decor. Upscale. Food quality.
Parking garage is convenient.
Iron in the room was faulty. I had to call 3 times and wait 50 minutes to get a new one. The lady at the front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful.
Breakfast is good quality, but you need to have plenty of time to wait given the rush.
Minor thing - coffee maker in the room fills the coffee cups in the room to the brim. No space to add anything.
Another minor thing - No way to lock the washroom door.

Location, prices were great ( until they doubled )
Couldn't order room service
Neither the restaurant nor the bar had a phone. Every time I needed food or drink or anything I had to go downstairs order it, then go back upstairs wait and then go back down to pick it up. That was frustrating I was there for four or five days. I got sick while I was there, so it was difficult. The other thing was because I was sick I was taking a little while to get out of my room, and I spoke to the general manager she told me she would have somebody bring up a trolley so I could take my luggage down on it. They gave me an extra hour. Which was great. Cleaning came knocking and I said I was waiting for a trolley. She left I opened the door I was all ready to go I was only waiting for them, and I could hear them saying out loud walking down the hall very unprofessionally I might add, leave! Leave! Get out get out! I turned them and I said I am trying to get out but I'm waiting for the trolley. This was the cleaning lady and the cleaning housekeeping manager. Not only was it offensive, but it was very inappropriate and very unprofessional to do it in the hallways amongst other guests. I found it so offensive. And I was sick and I was struggling. That really really was bad

The view. The valets . The front desk and general manager , and restaurant staff
Hotel advertised a pool . No pool. No 24 hr convenience market
No room service .
Price doubled midway through my stay ( I did extend , so my rate wasn't locked in for the extra days)
In a nutshell, great views and location, but WAY overpriced for an old hotel , recently renovated , with not many amenities. They may want the stop advertising they have a pool
Big reason we choose this hotel.

clean.
Uncomfortable bed. Charged extra for “free water” and “complementary” shuttle into main town area. Staff were sullen (not all of them, the shuttle bus driver was lovely). Poor after-stay service and communication. By far our worst stay during our 3 week trip to USA. I would avoid these large hotel chains in the future and choose smaller hotels that put more effort into offering guests a personalised experience.

Breakfast and dinner were good and the location of the hotel is beautiful.
Had to pay $45 for parking for a visitor I had. The visitor spent only two hours and I was charged as an overnight parking. I was initially charged for four nights parking in error before it was changed.

I liked the location. I did like the food store in the lobby.
I did not like the construction in the parking garage. I think that the hotel should have a better rate when using the garage. Maybe have a discount rate for 5 days or more of parking.

The hotel interior was amazing, loved the elevators. The restaurant food was good and the location was perfect.
I didn't like that I had to put a $100 damage deposit for a stay last week and I still haven't received it back.
