Great little kitchenette rooms and helpful staff.
The pool could use a little maintenance but it was functional and enjoyable.

was a nice set up.
that the room I was given didn’t even exist and then when I had to downgrade to 2 double beds I had to end up paying $12 more just to get another room because the one I was given didn’t exist.
3.1
the fact there was full size refrigerator
the man that checked us in didn’t listen to me when I told him I paid on Booking.com. He called someone that’s name started with a M and he more or less called me a lier said Expedia was the only site that let you pay on line. I was miss treated over charged. The next morning the day manager looked and she could she where I paid twice. I got my money back but this was totally uncalled for. The 2 women that helped me get 10 stars.. everyone else.. 0.. We will never stay there again because they don’t tell you in advance that you have to put up a $100 deposit to stay or a $150 if traveling with a pet. Yes you get it back but there are places that allow pets without that big deposit. I cleaned up after my cat.. There was no problem.

I liked that my room had a kitchenette, it made it easier to make better meals.
I didn't like that the hood over the stove was so low I couldn't see what I was cooking. I didn't like that the sink was so small I could barely wash any of my dishes. It had a terrible smell in my room. The only Hispanic desk staff was the only rude person on the staff and the neighborhood was shifty. After they gave me a hard time about not having my roomed cleaned every day I found out a prostitution ring used to be run out of it. There was always loud music next door.

I left before breakfast opened.
Although it was clearly marked that the rooms on my floor were all non-smoking rooms, there was a very smoky smell in the hall and in my room. I opened the window and it was bearable, but for someone fussier than me, it would have been a problem. However, it was in the Hurricane Ida aftermath and people were nervous and I'm sure the staff could not really enforce the no-smoking thing as well as they would have liked.
Also, although the kitchen and bathroom were absolutely spotless- surprisingly, impressively spotless, the floor in the corners of the bedroom behind the bed was grimy and it looked a lot like the photos of "How to tell if your hotel room has bedbugs" when I Googled. The bed did not show any indication of bedbugs (bug dirt, etc) so I slept on it and everything was fine, but those corners should really be cleaned.
