The staff was friendly but not helpful.
My wife and I were celebrating our 25 year wedding anniversary. I wanted to treat her to a nice place. For the money I paid I expected a much nicer place/view, not to look at a wall all dayfrom my room, considering the location of the property. Massive construction was going on. The resturant was being rennovated so they set up a corner with the few tables an till charging like it was thje normal resturantin the pictures. I was not notofied that they were doing a major rennovation. You could smell the paint and construction debris on our floor (6th). I told the front desk. She said she would notify the manager to see if we could be moved. Well we are back from out trip and I have not heard from anyone. Very disappointed! I would not recommend this property to anyone.

The location was terrific! All of the staff were wonderful! The room was clean, comfortable & well appointed.
The indoor swimming pool was cold which was very disappointing since the indoor pool was the main feature that led me to select this hotel over others.

Property was close to the monuments. Staff was very nice. And room service was top notch
Everything was too expectation or went above. Things were a little pricey but they met the price expectations most of the time.

And the property was beautiful. I loved the view. I love you room service was 24 hours.
I was surprised that the beds were not as comfortable as you would think. The light switch is almost impossible to figure out because one would work, and the other wouldn’t. I did have to complain about noise. I did not sleep much security couldn’t figure out where the sound was coming from. we had to replace our key to the hotel room several times because it locked us out. We decided to extend our stay and the person that did that screwed it all up and it was just more going up and down to the lobby that we wanted to do.

Lovely breakfast
Aged decor..needs revamping

Great location and top notch staff!

I liked the location. The hotelwas very average for the price.
The sound equipment at the conference never worked properly. We came to hear the speakers. Often, we could not.

The hotel’s decor was impressive. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We. ordered room service for breakfast and the food was plentiful and delicious. The location was ideal since we were there to see the Cherry Blossoms next to the Tidal Basin.
The bar area is extremely small and busy. it took me over 15 minutes to get a drink while standing up. Also, the lounge area is inadequate in size and capacity. I expected both the be bigger given the size of the hotel.

Great view out of a beautiful round window. Super comfortable bed and pillows, great bathroom, nice pool, super friendly staff, good people watching.
No in room coffee maker, no mini bar, very limited on site restaurant facilities.
Its a big hotel with one very small restaurant and the line at breakfast made for a wait of 30 minutes or more. We got in the second night and the food was a very basic buffet but highly priced.
Not much around in the immediate vicinity except a Starbucks. A rather unpleasant walk is required to get to the tidal basin or the wharf

Amazing property, staff and location.
Nothing!

The Location was perfect for our weekend to see the cherry blossoms! Very convenient bridge that goes across to the tidal basin!
Nothing negative necessarily, only struggle was trying to get ahold of the front desk and valet but that comes with the busy time of year!

Locations was great with nice views of the water. The room was immaculate and well appointed. Service staff was exceptional. Sabrina did a great job making us feel welcome! Definitely looking forward to our next stay.

beautiful and very relaxing
not enough time to enjoy it all
4.2
The location, the size of our room, the comfortable bed were all terrific.
If we’d known that a breakfast buffet would be $40 a person, we would have gone to Starbucks across the street or Potbelly down the street. We had tickets to a museum early and thought it’d be a good idea to just have breakfast there. When we arrived there were no a la carte options so they have you hostage and the price of the buffet is not posted anywhere. While the buffer was very nice, it certain,y was not one that warranted that kind of price. That was a rip off

location
poor restaurant

This hotel is a very short taxi ride from Reagan National Airport. There is a 24-hour doorman, and he and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a one-bedroom suite that was quite large and very comfortable.
The transition from the previous ownership was still going on, so there was no dining room. Food was available in the lounge, but we found the service there to be very slow and much less attentive than one would expect in a luxury hotel. There are limited restaurant options within walking distance.

Everything! My husband and I had a stay-cation anniversary celebration! The staff was amazing! The water was amazing! The ambience was amazing! The spa was AMAZING!!
4.2
The hotel was clean, as expected. The Lounge food was okay.
The staff were not entirely attentive, aware, or helpful as one would expect in a 5 star hotel. We were told our room would be ready an hour after our arrival and the weather was poor, so we hung out in the lobby and that wait turned into nearly 3 hours. There was nothing about it that set it apart from anywhere else, we would have gotten better service at half the price at the Hilton down the road.

The cost to park is outrageous!

People were able to walk their dogs through the dining area.
