Exceptional

The place was peaceful, tidy, and nice owners.. the pics on here are old the rooms are renovated with flat screen tvs

All around good experience

Hot water, clean, no bugs in room, front desk clerk was polite, check in went well with reservation, no hassle getting deposit back at checkout. Smooth all around. One faucet had a messed up handle but at check in I was told about it by the clerk who explained how to make it work, and it worked just the way he explained.

One (1) dying bug visible in check-in/lobby area. All else was good.

Could stay. Had no electricity

This facility is a rip off. I book a room for the night, only to get there and find out they have no electricity. The whole building was pitch black. When I canceled the reservation and asked for a refund all I'm getting is a run around. They have not refunded my money and have not answered any of the emails. I think a hotel with no electricity qualifies for a full refund. Why would anyone pay money to stay somewhere without power

Very disappointing. No true water view. No access to water. Poor experience.

Room had not been upkept. Battery on lock was dead. Room had musty odor. Bottle of Febreeze provided with the room. Floor not solid and creaked. Bedspreads not consistent with hotel stays. No toilet paper on roll. Not a true water view or access to water to walk. I figured for the price I paid it would have been far better. I wish I could get my money back. I would have gone elsewhere after seeing room but they don't offer any refunds.

Avoid the place ,less than basic.

Management does not allowed to park your vehicle in front of your room's entrance door. Figure this out

I lived through 1 night and will not return to BELMONT INN & SUITES in future.

Location

The smell of lobby and room. The lobby smelled of some type of food. The room smelled of long term cigarette smoke. I was told no issues with insects by front office. I experienced 2 nice size roaches in bathroom entrance.

Second time to stay and will definitely be back

I absolutely love the Hot tub in the room my favorite for sure that's the second time I have stayed and will definitely be back and will recommend Belmont Inn everything was fantastic

Hidden little gem. Good location convenient for fishing.

I feel like this isn’t the best part of town. Random people in the parking lot at all times during the night. Didn’t feel my personal property was safe in the car.

Our stay was very brief, by the time we arrived we were exhausted. And left early a.m.

Unfortunately, we didn't know they offered breakfast, and our ride came very early a.m. And we checked out...I loved the snowy view of the Chesapeake River.... I would stay there again, the Mexican restaurant next door was a plus, especially since we weren't driving and didn't know the area.

My only complaint, was it took a long time for room to heat up to my comfort level.

The owners we're all very friendly and helpful

I got a Jacuzzi room and the stairs on the side of it were busted up and had not been fixed other than that everything looked fine

It was very quiet and the bay view was a bonus. Plus the Mexican restaurant was excellent. Thank you for your hospitality. Kathy

The smell of the room when we first got there. We just turned on the AC and when we got back from the beach it was gone. Better to condition the air than cover it up with strong aerosols.

Always a pleasant stay. Owners are extremely nice. Always stay here when fishing.

Disappointing

Room was great for the very low price with hot tub in bedroom plus a shower bath in bathroom.

We were unable to connect computers, i-pad or smart phones to the Wi fi, even with code. TV cable was terrible with no local or network stations and reception poor on the few cable stations available. Owner required $100 damage deposit be given to him in cash. He did promply return the cash at check out.
