No bar, no food.

The idea of a historic hotel was exciting for us. The elevator was neat. The lady at the front desk was very sweet.
The ceiling had chunks falling off onto the floor. The bathroom had urine on the toilet and was overall very dirty. The sheets had blood stains and urine stains, hopefully they were just stains and not dirty sheets. We left and checked into another hotel. The front desk receptionist said she is not able to give refunds and said I needed to email the general manager. The bar and restaurant are closed indefinitely due to staffing issues.

History and lobby furniture
Online pictures show great atmosphere and enjoyment in on site restaurant and bar neither of which exist!
One lift which was out of order at check in so had to hump all luggage up to third floor. No cold water available in first room offered so back down to lobby as phone was not working. Second room on same floor was smaller but had both hot and cold water but was grubby. Very disappointing from what looked like a great historic site

The people are really nice
The room you represented on the website is not the room I stayed in the water barely had any pressure once it was cold in the other side was hot. I’m glad I did not plan on showering there and the bed was hard as a rock I paid a lot of money for a bathroom.

Nice and helpful staff! Historic artifacts and decor.
Towels cheap and ratty
Pillows flat and dingy
Mildew in tub/shower grout
Carpet is badly stained and filthy
For what we paid for one night, I was expecting better.

The location was perfect and the public spaces were charming.
I understand that the hotel is being run on a shoe string but the bedrooms really need help. My window AC unit struggled, the tub faucet leaked and I had two refrigerators. I guess one broke so they just left it and added a second.

Beautiful lobby, list of famous people who stayed there.
Horrible bed, pillows the worst, cheap linen, not very hot water for shower. Very disappointed and will not recommend this hotel. Desperately needs rooms to be updated for comfort.

I thought the atmosphere was really neat. I loved the area it was located, and the room was so quiet and the bed so comfortable.
It would have been nice to have a breakfast option at the hotel. The parking was a bit strange too.

it was historic and very central to everything
Rooms were a bit small and the room I was given was very noise even though I asked not to be put in a noise room. I was told that all rooms are quite.

great historical property which was close to some of the historic attractions of Cheyenne.
the current marketing pictures do not reflect the current condition of the property such as the lobby. the fitness room is basically a storage of non functional equipment and this was a specific requirement we look for in our lodging selections and so was quite disappointed. significant tlc required to get the property up to a standard that this historic property deserves and was purported to be.

The nostalgia was incredible, My goodness this place dates back to 1911. What a historic landmark with a million percent potential to be one of the greatest establishments in existence. However changes need to be made to reach its potential. A restoration remodel is necessary and some state backing to establish this as a historical landmark, Hollywood should see this and after restoration use it in a historic movies dating back to 1911 era. If you haven’t been here you should at least once in your lifetime. If this were to be a main attraction for a visit to Cheyenne Wyoming then it needs a project management team to take it to its ultimate potential thus a destination for a bucket list for visitors from all over the world.
There is nothing I didn’t like. Plus the staff is phenomenal.

Beautiful place, lots of history. Place was clean, staff friendly but didn't see many staff. Bed was comfy.
I chose the place because I was without a vehicle and it advertised a restaurant. Upon arrival the restaurant is closed, no staff to run it. While located in downtown area, not a lot of options for restaurants and none were open on Sunday.

Emailed properly about their false claim of restaurant and bar on site as advertised. No response. Requested partial refund due to lack of facilities. We.chose the facility because it was close to the venue we were visiting. Lack of restaurant and bar forced us to look elsewhere. Request Booking.com issue a partial refund for our stay. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Staff not friendly at ALL!

Then told it was $78.00 upon checking in then it turned out to be $98.00 a night ???? No hot water, dirty Q tip on floor, mold in bathroom hair in drain , no restaurant, no bar, not friendly at all. great location but that is it Won’t be back !!

The staff were wonderful, the building was incredible, and the price was terrific! Right in the center of town minutes away from the capital. Historic, friendly and delightful.
Parking was available for us because I am handicapped, but the parking for the hotel was remote.
