After requesting a new room I was very pleased with the view and the room overall. It was a great experience for my first time staying in the hotel. The spa experience was just lovely and exactly what I needed.
Was a little disappointed with the location of the pool and how it's in a covered area with no real views. Felt a little out of place but understanding that the hotel is built around a championship golf course, the pool isn't why people go.
4.3
Beautiful location. Very good room with all thoughtful touches.
Value for money is not there. For people who come just for experience it’s a steep price to pay. There is no one that could personally demonstrate how to unlock all benefits and show especially first timers how the experience could be maxed.
4.3
Customer service is outstanding
I was given key for someone's room and I entered someone else's room and it was extremally embarrassing but the staff who gave the key by mistake was super sweet.
I specifically booked the room with ocean view but I was given room with golf course view but late at night the receptionist offered to change my room but it was difficult to move sleeping kids with all of the stuff from one room to another. Wife wasn't happy with non ocean view room but mistakes do happen sometime and that's ok

Really great hotel and complex, high quality throughout both in terms of rooms, food and the staff were excellent. Good selection of activities that could be done, we played tennis, cycled etc
It is a very expensive resort, we booked two rooms and a suite so we knew it was a major investment - but the charges for most other activities felt higher than expected. It would be better if the hotel also had somewhere you could buy snacks etc as we were limited to ordering room service

Everything was fabulous, we truly escaped from normal days routine
One little thing was not clear for us, that breakfast card has to have the room number, we thought if the card was in the specific room it already should include this information by default. We missed the breakfast over this misunderstanding. Otherwise all was great

Though this is in a vacation location the room felt as if it were a business hotel, not one for relaxation or pleasure.
The coffee maker was too loud, could not possibly use it when my wife was asleep.
4.3
The location is one of the most stunning in the world. The service was outstanding
Housekeeping did not pay attention to detail . They left the dustbin and office chair on top of the desk

No daily Club level like SF Ritz

The pillows had zero support.

Great location for a weekend getaway!
There are beautiful places for hiking and bicycling too around the shoreline.

We had one night stay after a business trip and liked it very much. The perfect way to end a trip. We played 9 hole golf and had a walk before going to the airport next day.
we liked everything
4.3
The view is spectacular and the golf was great.
The indoor pool was not great. The food was average but extremely overpriced. Maid service came either way too early or way too late in the day.
4.3
I enjoyed the view, security measures, and amenities.
I disliked that it is not disclosed during booking that certain rooms are separate from the main property.
4.3
Fire pit next to room. Spa services were wonderful.
Late check out was denied.
4.3
Location was amazing, room basic, cleanliness of floors questionable. Check in was poor, loud lobby, staff not pleasant.
4.3
Staff was either incredible or not helpful whatsoever. Everyone we talked to expected way more from the Ritz. Very disappointing! Absolutely beautiful location but staff was such or hit or miss!
Staff was not up to par. It seemed like people were inconvenienced by our needs and wants. When people spend a great amount of money we expect to have a great experience!

Dining options, quality of food very disappointing

Everything was perfect. The workers were really polite and helpful.
I guess I paid a little extra for breakfast thought.
We had to have reservations for Breakfast/dinner/lunch

The location was excellent with outstanding views, feels like a world away. Nice to walk around the property.
The customer service was pretty bad and the food was super expensive.
4.3
Great hotel, but the value was appalling.
in-room breakfast took almost two hours and was cold.

Staff and property are amazing
Room rate is very expensive. Not really worth the $$$$
