Great alternative to Fort Lauderdale location.

Short walk to public beach. Very quiet despite rather busy road. Tables with umbrella in front of rooms. Fridge/Freezer combo, great to store ice cream. Good internet speed. Daily room service. Enough soap. Plenty of storage space.

Surf Side Resort is our home away from home.

The property is very clean, including the pool. It is very close to the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants. The pier is just under one mile. It is a beautiful and safe area to walk, even at night.

Our stay was enjoyable, but I am uncertain about returning to this place in the future.

I appreciate the convenient location just a few steps away from the beach - it's easily accessible!

Upon check-in, I inquired with the front desk personnel regarding an incorrect fee that had been charged for my reservation made through a third-party. Unfortunately, the approach of the individual in question did not reflect a strong commitment to customer service. It is my assumption that this person is either the owner or the manager of the motel. It would also be beneficial for this place to undergo some renovation or remodeling. Nonetheless, I would like to express that our one-night stay was satisfactory.

Convenient location with beach access across the street and a short walk from restaurants and bars etc.

Extremely clean and meticulously maintained property. Ours was an awesome King Studio Room on upper floor with large windows on three sides.

14 days in the sun and quiet and clean lodging.

this property dates to another era but has been updated and while not a 5 star, it makes for a great home base while in the area. the entire site is meticulously groomed with not a blade of grass higher than the other. All painted surfaces are done with much attention to detail…no paint strokes out of the lines. it is impecable. the owners are obviously proud and keep the place in order. staff is friendly and attentive. if you book, try to get a room that gives on the inner courtyard.

The mgr was very nice, the place was clean and quiet. We were only there for a quick stop

The only complaint I have is the bed was awful, I think it had springs 😳 But other than that it was good.

What a pleasant little gem near the beach. Very quaint and clean.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location was easy to get to, plenty of parking near rom and a quick walk to the beach. The pool and court were clean and very inviting.

KEEP SEARCHING FOR A HOTEL

The ONLY thing I liked is it was fairly close to the beach.

It was like something out of the 1950's. No conditioner but two shampoos. Fair sized fridge but ancient. No silverware, no dishes, no kitchen sink. Microscopic microwave which had the only clock in the room. There was only a room AC so the bath area was so hot. The shower had very little water pressure but no shower cap. The woman at the front desk was trying to tell me how the hotel biz works. Only bc I was not happy that you couldn't check in until 2 PM even tho there were barely ANY guests. The check-out time was 10 AM that they were NOT willing to bend. She starts lecturing me on how hotels work - she has no idea that I know about the business, probably MUCH more than she does. I know this ~ if you put greed b4 your customers, your biz will suffer. My introduction to the place was a drunk thinking I had scratched his car. He was sitting 75 feet away in a rocking chair. I did NOT touch his car. So I expressed this to the office manager. She didn't want to hear it. Probably her brother. This is NO WAY to run a biz. I come to this area a LOT and so do my friends. They just lost a lot of potential biz!!!

if you need a wonderful spot to enjoy local business, restaurants , beach , and activities… all are within shirt walking distance… just fantastic fir those who just want to relax … will plan on this Locale again.
