Awful, Awful, Awful

This place is a known drug trafficking and prostitution hotel. Absolutely no security. My wife and two young sons were woken up at 2:30am by 5-6 people partying outside in courtyard about ten feet from our room. We called the front desk to complain and was rudely told "it is not our policy to do anything". The group partied until 430am and I heard every word. DO NOT STAY HERE. We will never return!

Solo en caso de negocios

El espacio. Las habitaciones son amplias.

La limpieza. Encontramos un jabón en barra usado en la ducha. El escritorio tenía manchas de café. Habían insectos dentro de la habitación. Es caro para lo que es, no está en un buen lugar. Debes venir en auto, no hay fácil acceso a taxi o Uber.

Not so wonderful

Location.

My room was on the train tracks this time. I was up all night long with trains coming through. Be aware of this and that depending on your location you can be right next to the train. Also HVAC turned on heat even though I had it set on cool to 67. Not sure why. Could not get water when I arrived. Bought a bottle but even the complimentary water was out.

not worth $500

it was close to the capitol theatre which was our purpose of travel

ridiculously expensive (almost $500 for one night) and not even complimentary breakfast or even a bathtub in the room. The room was a little small and there is no pool just a gym and a giant courtyard but who cares about a courtyard in the fall/winter time. sorry just wasn’t impressed with the price.

Not a good value

Recent upgrades are nice

It's not a good value. It was too expensive. I have stayed at this location many times over several years, and up until the last 1 - 2 years, it was a decent value for the location. That is no longer true and I won't be staying there in the future

Could not recommend. Price/value ration was non-existent.

It was well located. Fold out couch was horrible. Bottom of it kept falling down. It was a very depressing room- no decoration , dark and very expensive.

The room was without adornment and ugly. Fold out bed so uncomfortable that our daughter had to come and get in bed with us.

Overall positive experience.

Large room with mini-fridge. Helpful staff. Covered exterior entry, free parking. Location on bus route near train station.

Indoor pool no longer available. It's still the only hotel in Rye - and expensive.

Forget about it!

Attractive Marriott property in a decent location right off I95

The Courtyards of old could command those kind of prices because they had great amenities. Now, the room rate is bloated. $20 breakfast, $8 cuppa. I could understand if it was a JW but a Courtyard? And we were literally flooded in the next morning.

Great location, just off the highway. Hotel staff were pleasant and always available. Lobby and room were clean and AC was quiet.

Good memory in Rye

People working are nice. Good access to the parking lot because there are a few doors and can choose closest door. Could you use microwave. Overall enjoyed our stay at Marriott.

Bed sheets are not so clean. Main elevator was out of service so we choose sub elevator which was ok.

Horrible.

It was clean and the room was adequate.

We had a very bad experience upon check in and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There was confusion about payment and the front desk clerk was hostile and unwilling to work with us to resolve the issue. The police became involved and as the customer, I felt threatened. I plan to follow up with Marriott corporate as well; we attempted several times during our stay to work with management but they were not as helpful as one would expect. As of now, the payment issue is still not resolved to my satisfaction.

Breakfast was not included but there is a decent café - overpriced though

room was awful and not clean - I found an empty beer can, hair in sink and tub. The A/C was laud and hard to sleep. just terrible

Noisy, bad night sleep.

They are renovating the hotel, but the electrics seem to be shady. My room had a crazy high pitch noise that was constant. I called reception who moved me to another room but the new room also had a buzzing noise. Walls are super thin, the couple beside me were fighting loudly till 2am.

Everything felt fresh and up to date.

The doors to the room didn’t have a good stop action to avoid slamming upon closure. And, the restaurant choices seemed more like pub fare. It was disappointing.

Never again.

Front desk was friendly. Hotel felt safe. Trouble sleeping due to loud guests.

Hi, We called to try to cancel a week prior due to change in guests coming and much cheaper hotel options available. Was told not able to cancel. Tried to do e-check in from email sent earlier on day of arrival (my birthday) and was told there were no rooms available. Showed up to hotel anyway because I was very far from home and was given a smaller room and quoted a higher price. I feel extorted. This is not to mention the 9:00 am abrupt wake up service from housekeeping we did not request.

Exceptional place & service

Check in and check out was a breeze. Both processes took no more than 1 minute. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Definitely felt like a home away from home. Very close to where we were coming from. The whitby castle was 8 minutes away where we attended a wedding there.
