Breakfast was very good. I feel like there was a good selection and it was tasty, and the staff in the breakfast area was nice and friendly.
0.5 / 5.0
Coffee was good and the oat milk (only vegan option) made our stay welcoming. The breakfast had a very few items that were also vegan which is very important. Location is prime.
No housekeeping! Totally disappointed. Was lied to about when housekeeping would come. Had to change my towels sheets and take out my trash twice. Then when we finally had housekeeping the third day they did not vacuum wipe the mirror or change the visibly dirty linens. They left a black hair in the sink which we are both blonde hair. The shower is growing black mold in the grout all throughout the shower. The staff then treated me differently when I brought this to their attention and blamed it on the lack of staff which made me feel bad and turned this sanctuary into a place of discomfort. I suggested I stay somewhere else to free them from such burden as I had started to feel as if I was causing their grief and they said because I booked through third party there was nothing they could do. That was an insult as if I wanted a free or refunded stay and didn’t actually answer my question. Because we were traveling for work and had been tired we decided to stay and try another room. Upon check in we found debris on the floor and even trash wrappers as if the room was also not cleaned. The tile in the bathroom was broken and had debris around the floor. My closet door was completely missing and the shower did not drain while using the shower which as you may know is not a comforting way to take a shower and cleanse yourself from a long day of work and sweat.
When the staff apologized for the dirty room lack of staff and overall uncleanliness of the property they blamed it on this being a recent purchase and that the renovations are due to happen soon further helping me to realize I made a mistake staying here. So many stains and smells on the second floor. The laundry key is very sensitive and took minutes to open.
When we received our second room set of keys and walked all the way back to the first room to ensure we got everything (very end of the hall and a floor down) the key stopped working which meant I had to then go back to front desk and get a new key and

I liked being on the ground floor close to an exit.
I did not like that the ac unit wouldn't work. The fan setting only worked on low. An the window only opened an inch or two. No real way to cool down or get air.

We were there for an overnight and it was great.

Xtra charge for parking $10. The six extra charges on my card. I was informed it would be $26 in case I wanted snacks; I don't eat from the snack area. The breakfast was NOT good, including the cleanliness. After COVID - places should be more aware of the situation. Other guests blowing their nose around the food and more.
They should change their hotel to 2 stars. WAY OVER RATED and in the end, the extra charges are over $100 on my card. I should've stayed at Motel 8 for $70 and Black Friday shopped with the extra $144 on my card. The whirlpool was on but no chlorine in it. I seriously want a refund. Normally I don't complain but that was too much money for that hotel.
The night shift clerk was great. Nothing open on Thanksgiving night for food, clerk offered me her plate given to her which was a wonderful gesture (and it was) but I decline, I was able to stop and eat at a small place on the way to the hotel. The clerk gave the dinner to a homeless person on her way out.
I had forgotten how slummed it really is in Portland. Oregon is one state that should be imprisoned for human rights violations.

The room was well appointed, clean, and comfortable.
I liked everything.

The breakfast was ok. The hotel is close to the convention center which is good and the roads were not too busy in the morning.
It seemed like the homeless people were in the area. We had a hard time finding a good restaurant nearby. In the evening the freeway was crowded. Driving out of the parking lot into narrow roads while many cars were parked there was a challenge.

It is residential with fair amount of noise from the road

The Staff is pretty helpful and always nice . Rooms were good and also the included breakfast was nice

Most breakfast served by the hotels is made from a box or a bag. When I think of eating breakfast, it’s sitting down and ordering food that is fresh and prepared. Powered eggs, highly processed bacon or sausage, Fruit-loops or sugar covered cereal is not my idea of a nutritional breakfast.
The building and parking is in a highly congested location. A four night stay and the best room the hotel could put me in was literally right by the freeway. I asked for a different room and was told they couldn’t accommodate me. Certainly over priced, never had any wash cloths, upon my arrival I was asked questions that were profiling questions. Checking out, the manager never asked how my stay was - no conversation at all!

Check in was simple and there were a good amount of breakfast options.
They charge $10 a night for parking and the lot wasn't even half full on the weekend.
White towels had some weird brown stains on them.
The walls in the room are super thin. We heard all of the outside noise plus the crying children in the rooms next door to us.
The amount of black mold in the bathroom was a little alarming. There is no heat in the bathroom and stepping out of the shower onto a freezing cold tile floor is not fun.
The lighting in the room is very poor, plus the main entrance light in the room was burnt out.
Paying almost $200 for a room in a hotel that is difficult to get to and has no shopping or restaurants around it is a little too much in my opinion.

The staff were really nice accommodating and professional. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The breakfast is good. Coffee and Tea available all day at the lobby . Theres an indoor pool snd hot tub, pool water has a comfortable temperature for swimming. Room was very clean and just the right size. The check in receptionist did her very best to keep our rooms close together so its convenient and easy for us families to get together and communicate. Pet friendly hotel. No resto walkable at the hotel tho but over all its an excellent value for your money. Will stay here again when we go back to Portland.
No walkable restaurant around the area.

Room was clean but the bed was not soft enough for my personal taste. Overall clean room and friendly staff.
The bed mattress could be better.

It was as expected- perfect for a one night visit- with easy access to freeways. Good value.
Nothing. It’s a bit tricky to locate but we knew this from other reviews- worth the effort to find.

The breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful. Overall it was good time.
Road noise, we didn't know about the little white noise device until the end of our stay. Getting to the hotel was difficult because streets so narrow and we had a truck. Need a better way to get in and out.

The breakfast was decent as the staff member was very sanitary and kept it clean as everyone came and went. And the staff at the front desk are friendly and professional as well as the environment inside compared to outside was inviting and smelt so clean .
The location and view too many homeless people and the trash alongside the road when you look out your window.
4.5 / 5.0
Very clean and in good repair. The surprise was how quiet it was at night with being right next door to the freeway. We booked through Booking.com and saved almost 1/3 off of the price. Great bargain.
I little difficult to find the entry point to the Hotel.
