The location was very convenient to highway access. The rooms looked to be freshly remodeled and nicely decorated.
If the management had paid closer attention to the parking lot noise levels from boisterous tenants (I'm assuming long term renters). They were intoxicated and revving their loud truck engine, as they were working on it well past midnight. Yes, I am at fault for not saying anything at the time, but I was just thankful to have a place to stay. I didn't want to ruffle feathers and if that was the worst I had to deal with, that was ok.

Bed bugs in sheets could not breathe from cigarette residue in air I had to breathe on my pillow to get clean air.

Nothing went well, it was the most HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE,,,,, my wife and I have ever have while traveling to the area. It was my wife birthday so we plan the trip from were we live in Santa Clarita to Paso Robles. My wife birthday was on Saturday June 29th so we book the room for Friday June 28th to spend the night there and stay till Saturday. The advertising said the rooms have Air Conditioning and that it was pet friendly. My wife is 5 months pregnant and our dog is a chihuahua puppy. After driving for 4 hours to get there 205 miles, we arrived, check in, got the room key and went up stairs. As soon as we walk in we felt the heat, it was around. 4:45 and we were exhausted. the air conditioning was not working, I went downstairs and explain that the room was extremely hot and my wife and our puppy can not be in such uncontfortable conditions. I ask to please put us in a room that have a working A. C. and the clerk said it can not be done since the air condition on the whole motel was out and that they were going to TRY,,, to get some one to fix it. We waited for 40 minutes in the car cause the room was to hot to be inside. My wife started to fell bad so I ask to speak to the manager, the clerk said she was not available. After I insisted, she finally came to the office and she dint like that I was complaining about the disappointed condition we were put thru and treat us like garbage, I ask for her name and she REFUSE,,, to give us her name . At that point I told her that we dint paid 120.00 to be in a room with out air conditioning we a pregnant wife and a 4 month old puppy she was EXTREMELY RUDE and unfriendly, I told her we can not stay under such bad conditions and that I want my credit card to be credited back since the advertising was false and the way we were treat it was unacceptable. She replay, I already credit your card and I I want you to get out of here. I ask her for proof that she credit back our card for the 120
I dint like the fact that the room they advertise as a conmfortable A.C. room was not true, and that when I ask to please put us in a room with A.C. Since my wife is pregnant and our puppy is 4 months old and the room was extremely uncounfortble, they got upset and treat us like garbage. Also the manager, instead of been understanding of the situation and try to help with a solution, she just treat us real bad and was very nasty. We can believe the company ( motel 6 ) employed such an unprofessional person to manage that place. We will post our horrible experience in all the media we used to warn people about this motel 6 in Atascadero california. This place and the manager are a UGLY NIGHMARE. In a scale from 1 to 10 we give them a - 0. I also reported the incident to my credit card bank , and they told me that they will make sure that they credit back the 120.00 dollars motel 6 charge for a room we dint used or spend any time on it because the unacceptable horrible condition and the nasty way my pregnant wife, our puppy and I were treated by this so call manager.

I called to confirm in the morning my reservation, check in and they said no reservation on file, then told it was canceleb by bpoking.com and hotel manager. Had to drive home for over 4 hours in the dark at night. Bad hotel and booking ,com. It was our kid graduation thanks for screwing it up for alk of us.

The beds seemed relatively clean. Everything also appeared to be fully stocked, including toilet paper, towels, soap, etc.
The first thing we saw when we walked in was a cockroach on the ground. After we squashed it, we entered the bathroom and found another even bigger cockroach there. The next day we found three more cockroaches.

Dirty, people smoking weed outside, lots of bums, web sites says heated pool & pool is not available. Light in bathroom doesn't work showered in dark. Gap in front door framing clearly see inside room from outside or inside to outside.

I didn’t like the fact the Haden the person on duty was dismmissive and not helpful. He too is to wait in the car 3 times while we sit for them to prepare a room for us. We arrived at 1AM and waited until 2:15 until we had to book another hotel across the highway.

The room stinks so bad like cigarette. Restroom door did not work/ close. air vent falling off wall. And dirty towels and sheets

The staff was A+. Worked with 3 different staff members and they all rocked. The reservation was screwed up. I booked 2 beds but only got one. The motel was booked for 2 beds so they comped us a second room to accomodate.
The motel itself is falling down. Floor wasn't clean. No cover or controls for the thermostat. The safety latch on the door had been kicked in and was hanging loose. The toilet wouldn't flush everything. The TV only had 2 inches of clear screen at the bottom. The rest was snow. In the second room which was ADA the shower was an accident waiting to happen. The safety bar was hanging off the wall with a rusty bolt waiting to stab someone. The shower flooded the entire room. But the A+ staff came in with towels and cleaned it all up. There was no AC in that room. The only saving grace was the excellent staff. The beds were okay but not great but the sheets were clean.

The room was supposed to have a shower/tub combo according to your website but staff informed me no motel 6 has that, so I think you overcharged me. No microwave either!

Room 106 floor was sticky and there are roaches. Left property soon as we found them. Advised staff which were nice and offered another room that he assured didn’t have any roaches. Didn’t want it.

Check-in and check-out were relatively easy. Lots of available parking.
Upon entering the room it was clear the room was not properly cleaned. Floor was pretty dirty and there seemed to be hair everywhere. Found little black hairs in the bathroom, even found some in the "clean towels." Some of the counter tops were burned with something. Door handle was kind of broken. Sheets had some stains on them and didn't fit the mattresses. By morning the sheets had come off the corners of the mattress, exposing what looked to be dirty mattresses underneath. Pillows were sad and barely supportive. Because the room didn't feel clean I didn't want to touch anything or even want to take a shower, just wanted to get out as quickly as possible. I know this was a budget room, but I'm surprised how low the standard was... I have stayed at Motel 6 before and expected more from this location. Additionally, if you're staying here to go to the Paso Robles area it's a solid 15 minute drive at 70mph to get to the town... It's a bit far and probably worth springing to stay closer with better accommodations.

The location was good for us. Lots of restaurants to drive to. Freeway was close too.
There was no coffee or coffee pot. No microwave or refrigerator. Bathroom floor was not swept.

Best thing was location!
First thing after walking in we noticed the bathroom door was locked from the inside with molding missing. We happen to have a screwdriver and unlocked it only to find a dirty bathroom with urine still under the toilet seat! and one bolt was missing! We had to use that screwdriver to hold the toilet lid in place! I told the front desk the bolt was missing but no response. Both beds where caved in from obvious over use. I asked for towels twice at the front desk but never got, so on the third day I tracked down housekeeping myself. WiFi was not consistent as well. Thought we reserved a room with a refrigerator and microwave, but there was only a microwave! Also didn’t like that at 8:30 am there was no coffee!!!!! and there was no intention to make anymore. But probably the most unsettling part was it felt like we where in a druggie kind of area. Like these customers rented by the month or something. Acting as though they lived there. I must say it was a comfort to have the police consistently making their rounds through the parking lot. We left there, thinking that the motel six corporation really doesn’t care about their motels anymore.

I really liked Abel who checked us in, and Hope one of their maids was extremely helpful and sweet and made the stay fun. Angel and his brother are extremely wonderful. If you are in need of anything they get it to you right away.
I did not like nor did any of my friends and family the head manager Amy Golden. He walks around with an ugly look on her face like she hates her job, will pop into rooms unannounced, messes up scheduling and reservations, she will argue with the clients that are staying, and will scream and call the cops right away and put the people on a do not return list for her mistakes. The rooms are filthy they're not up too Motel 6 standard. They don't come equipped with what you need for your stay according to the room you have booked. And booking online is a nightmare because one of the times we stayed we had the front desk at our door saying that we were in a room that was not supposed to have anybody in it. Though we had a room key that accessed it. And as well as amy my friend went downstairs to get towels telling her the exact room number and she okayed it. On top of it when they brought the towels they brought one towel and we were in a two bed. Amy Golden is not suitable for this position. She cannot handle the job the tasks and her temper.

The heater didn't work in our room and no answer from the front office. When my husband went to office, they provided him with a space heater. It worked great! The room was warm for our kids. The front desk was super nice. All went well ❤️🩹
